Wow, looks pretty big, say 6"? Dun think it will immediately start feeding. Give the fella some time ok. Volitans are quite easy to wean into frozen. You can try that after acclimatisation.

Anyone tried using acrylic container? I thought if the trap is transparent, it might increase some chances of getting the culprit.

I am trying to get my clarke clown out too. Tried your method, but my clarke was too smart for that. I waited for it to get IN to the net, and it waited for the food to fall OUT of the net... But I guess it's worth a try. It's a good method, and may work on certain fishes.

Red slime, otherwise known as cyno, are soft and slimy if you touch it. Coralline feels hard and solid.

What is the size of your tank and the domino? A pic of your setup may help. Actually I find them very nice...
