  1. Bezz, Do you have a part list of your controller? I'm doing some basic research now
  2. Hi Bezz, I'm doing up my LED using the Meanwell ELN-60-48P driver. Probably the Arduino controller will be a later project. How are you driving your LED - by buckpuck or Meanwell? If you are using the Meanwell, I would like to check how you pull up the 0-5V PWM output of the Arduino to match the 0-10V PWM input of the Meanwell.
  3. Hi Bezz, neat work! Where did you buy your Arduino from? I saw that there are only 2 resellers in Singapore. Is it easy to program? I haven't done any programming in donkey years since my JC days. Do you have to get any of the shields to interface with the LED?
  4. You can also try those industrial hardware shops around Sungei Rd. They sell compressed air fittings and tubings. Should be ok for CO2.
  5. Where did you order your LEDs from?

Finally I get some available $$$ to start my DIY LED project. I'm planning to convert my Solite 3' from MH to LED Just checking with the bros here, besides ordering the CREE LED and buckpucks online, does any of the shops in SLT sell such items? I saw the shop at SLT basement (Continental) selling high power LED's but the auntie there tell me they are from China. They even have a 10W LED.
  8. Can also lay newspapers on the floor first before doing water change. It helps a lot in soaking up any small spills.
  9. Probably Asterina starfish. Quite common hitchhiker on live rocks.
  10. Thought so too. Left it in a jar overnight and it died. Flushed down the sink already
  11. My anenome just withered away. Tank still stable.
  12. Anyway, better to play it safe and isolate. Maybe tomorrow I feed it to my clown trigger...
  13. Bought a rock of mini-plates from Ah Beng today. Found this hitch hiker in the detritus in the plastic bag. Looks like isopod to me. Anyone can confirm?
  14. I recommend Goodbye PO4. You need a skimmer to use it.
  15. Don't. 1 mandarin can eat a lot of copepods. If you get another, they might starve.
  16. Should inject the lemon juice into the aiptasia body. Just squirt on won't kill them outright.
  17. Anyone kept their rhizo longer than a year? Its seems mine is receding...
  18. If possible, switch the pumps around and check the cooling down time.
  19. I inject the lemon juice right into their body... thru the mouth. Spraying around outside doesn't kill them.
  20. Depends on the volume of water that you intend to cool.
  21. If you want to use a temporary skimmer, you can consider airstone skimmer. Cheap and easy to setup.
  22. Since its 2ft tank. You can use NSW for water change. 1 bag of 15L should be sufficient for 1 water change.
