Another tang...

Went down to CF today. Realised that tomorrow not free. A lot of baby derasa clams, pot bellied seahorses, wrasses, powder blue tangs, clown tangs, tassled filefish, flame angels, nautilus and some fishes that I have not come across before... What kind of tang is this?

I have some small loose coral frags for sale. These are common corals and easy for beginners. Also good for nano tanks since they are small size. #1 - Brown Mushrooms (2 heads). Now its still baby size, adult form has some blue spots. #2 - Red centered zoas. This piece was grown from 1 polyp. #3 - Palythoa. (3 polyps) Each frag is $3. Take all for $8.

Why don't you just use the analog video cable to link up? If your TV has DVI input then use the DVI cable. No need to convert to HDMI cable. You don't need upscaling for PC to HDTV.

ML have very nice yuma... luminous green with orange skirting. Some have tinge of colours in the centre, machiam a bit like rainbow. 8 red notes/head. 1 head of hammer in heart-shaped... just nice for V-day. Also pink zoas, 2 rocks left. Also a lot of copperbands.

Not necessrily. My cocoworm detached 1 of its heads a few times already, but it will grow back. As long as still got the other head attached, should be ok. But if 2 heads detached then usually means the worm is dying.

Usually becaused its stressed. Look after it, cos usually after it detached the head, the worm dies.

I read somewhere that you can soak the whole thing in vinegar to dissolve the coralline algae.

Is it purplish colour and hard, brittle like rock? Could be coralline algae. I have such kind of coralline growing on my LR also.

Those that PM'ed, here is an old photo of the monti cap (5mths ago). Frag were taken from the outside where growth is. Frags are available on FCFS basis.

My monti cap seems to be having some bleaching from the centre. I've decided to frag the outside and save what I can before the whole thing dies. I have 5 frags which I intend to give away to people who can take better care of SPS than me. Trade is also welcome. My place is near Holland V. PM me if you want the frags.

Thanks for the reply. Just thought that when in series, if 1 LED fail, the whole circuit will be dead.

I noticed that you connect the LED in series? Is there any reason for doing this or is parallel better?
