  1. No matter how you DIY, the source of the fan is usually China made. Cost is also about the same.
  2. Looks like flatworms. You can remove your mushrooms and iodine dip. Or manually remove the flatworms with tweezers.
  3. CF have 3 blotchy anthias around 2.5"-3"... 2 blue notes for the largest size
  4. If you intend to use zooplankton and phytoplankton from now on, then finish up the 5-in-1 then switch. Put it in the fridge will last longer.
  5. Now my anemone starting to move around and 1 time even got stuck on my Hydor K3 Lucky saved it in time, but next time maybe not so lucky.
  6. Aquarama is open to public on the weekend. Entrance fee $8 for adults
  7. I had similar problem last time... was using dechlorinated tap water with salt mix then. No zoas would survive in my tank, although mushies no problem. Now that I've converted to using NSW, keeping zoas no problem. Then funny right? . I'm sure its some water parameter that is not right.
  8. I think some people just use old pantyhose with bait inside. The worms will get tangled in the pantyhose
  9. If you dose zooplankton and phytoplankton, I think its not necessary to use the 5-in-1 coral food amymore.
  10. CF have all sizes of rocks with mushrooms and zoas. The varieties are usually the common species, although you can find some gems there sometimes. Prices are quite cheap also.
  11. I believe you are looking for O-ring for the Skimz FR100? Last time I went to Garlin they don't have the correct size O-ring. They can make 1 for you, but the cost may not be economical, and you have to wait a couple of weeks for it.
  12. Maybe I saw them... 3 guys looking around at Irwana and Pacific Reef. Anyway, I didn't get anything this trip. Got some NSW for water change instead... now backache liao
  13. Hey... I'm thinking of going down to Pasir Ris farms this afternoon. Anyone want to join me?
  14. Interesting... what is the benefit of feeding bananas? And how you do it? Chop into small pieces?
  15. Ok, its time to break out Joe's juice
  16. The aiptasia in my tank looks like this... So there are other types of aiptasia?
  17. Found these growing at the back of my tank, out of sight. Looks like some kind of zoa or palythoa but can't be sure. Biggest polyp is around 1cm diameter. Doesn't look like aiptasia to me...
  18. 3) Green yuma -$15 4) Palythoa - $2 Cheato - $2 (All you can take)
  19. Thanks, although I did some rescaping after this and all my clams died from pinched mantle disease
  20. You referring to J1reh? Otherwise, there is a fish shop inside the market. They sell both freshwater and marine LS also.
  21. Easily >1000kg for a 5x2x2' tank. Weight of salt water is heavier + LR + sump + cabinet. Use the online converter at the bottom of the page to help you.
  22. Just something to add, did you check that your floor loading can take the weight of a 5x2x2' tank?
  23. Zoas are taken. Only left the Yuma and Palythoa.
