  1. I wonder how you going to reef when dead?
  2. I guess reefing is not a cheap hobby and you do need a certain level of income and free time to do this. Many people also tried and then give up so impatient people are also out.
  3. Item sold. Sorry to all the rest who PM me, but Bro XiaoBaiTu is still the fastest.
  4. You may have to leave your trap inside the tank for a few days until the fish gets used to it.
  5. Have a brand new Philips DVD player which I got as a freebie when buying my TV. Only opened to checked that its working. Selling for $50. PM if interested.
  6. I used a betta box with food inside. Rig a toothpick onto the sliding cover with a string to pull... sit and wait for the fish in question to rush in to eat. Yank the string, cover closes and wah la! Now I got a Yellow tang inside... Anyone interested to buy it?
  7. I wonder if we can DIY chemical clean the condenser fins with those aircon cleaning aerosal from hardware shop?
  8. Can check out my zoas for sale here. I'm staying near West.
  9. ML has quite a few pairs of spotted mandarins. Just saw them on Sat.
  10. Also selling another rock of pink zoas at $10. Picture is under 12K MH light.
  11. Selling these 2 rocks of Zoas: Red (or is it orange) centered zoas. Bought this thinking that they look like orange, but find that they are similar to what I have already in my tank. Letting go at $8. Picture is under 12K MH light.
  12. I think should be ok... give it some time to find back its balls
  13. If you go the uncle & auntie shop in front of Ah beng's place, they have a cube tank. Design has the overflow in the centre. Main advantage is that this gives the tank an all round view from 4 sides. Bad is that maintenance on the overflow is difficult due to hard to reach and placement of lights also more complicated.
  14. I'm taking a big risk here, since Ah Beng says that they just came in... so not able to tell if they are feeding well or not But the black is really deep black, very different from the usual brownish black that comes in. Previously I had a powder black from AM, but it died from ich due to my Moorish idol dying in the tank. If no ich this time, I hope it should be ok.
  15. Just came back from Irwana and Ah Beng place... Irwana nothing much, waiting for tonite's shipment. Ah Beng has some clown tangs, firefish, clowns, and powder black tangs. A few of the powder black are sibeh black... since cannot afford black tang... so settle for Sibeh Black Powder Black Tang
  16. If you like schooling fishes, you can try chromis.
  17. I have a blotchy anthias, bought from a reefer here. $60 for 3" size. I suppose your yellow damsel is the first fish in the tank. Damsels are known to be highly territorial and aggressive. Either you get rid of the damsel or you introduce fishes that are much bigger than it. I have a yellow tail damsel which was the first fish introduced. Later I put in tangs which are at least twice its size. Once you have more fishes in the tank which are larger than the damsel, its unable to claim much territory without getting whacked by a larger fish. After a while it just kuai kuai mind its own business
  18. Depends la... I'm using ATI... one of the tubes around 6mths spoil already
  19. Depends if you are using your T5 as main light source or just to supplement MH.
