  1. Hi everyone, My tank can only accomodate 1 large angel and so I have to choose carefully. I am deciding between the Majectic or the French. Can anyone here who have got experience with these fishes care to share your personal experience with them. The majestic is more beautiful colour wise but the French has such a nice shape. I also read that the French is easier to keep. Is this true? Would appreaciate your comments very much. Once again thanks a lot guys. This has been a really great forum and I have learnt a lot here. Cheers Lee
  2. Thanks everyone for your help. The cauliflower is gone. Fish is eating well, but will only eat mysis. Tried pellet, spirulina flakes...........all dont want. Today try a clam and he ate it after awhile. Fussy eater lah.
  3. Already PM you but you have not replied. Interested in your Oceanic. Pls sms 9686 1314. Thanks
  4. Thanks very much for the info and advise provided. Fish is still eating well. I will monitor closely on it and if it gets worse maybe will take your suggestion and cut it off. But that's last resort because it will really stress the fellow out. I am hoping that it will boost up its own immunity and heal. Fingers cross. Thanks again. Appreciate your advise. Lee
  5. Hello everyone, As I am new here I would like to seek advise on how to remove cauliflower from an infected fish.(That's what I was told by a reefer) It's the white stuff on the tail of my butterfly. Just a bit but I want to tackle it before it gets worse. Please help. I have no idea at all. Thanks a lot. Lee
  6. Thanks everyone for the quick reply. No wonder I have never seen it in the shops. It is pretty hard to find on the web as well. Have a nice weekend to all of you.

  8. Hi Guys, I am new to this hobby. I was thinking would it be better to add some sort of filter before running the water through the chiller? Would this help reduce the amount of dirt going into the chiller? Of course I will have to use a more powerful pump for this but are there any types of filters for this? Appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks.
  9. Thanks guys for your input. I tried putting a bottle in and managed to get 1 crab today. So at this rate I might need a month to get it all out! Ha ha. I guess I have to be patient.
  10. Hello Everyone, I am a newbie and just set up my tank about 3 weeks ago. The infomation that has been around is most interesting and useful. Thanks to all. Right now I am just letting the system run and let the bacteria 'grow'. The problem I have is that after putting in the rocks I have now noticed that there are a lot of crabs in my tank. They are pretty small, biggest around 2cm but there are lots of them. Probably around 30. Is it harmful to the fishes that I will introduce later and most importantly what is the best way to remove them? I am thinking of taking the rock out and leaving it in fresh water? Good idea? Or reduce the salinity of the tank? But what effect does it have on the good bacteria? Any advise would be much appreciated. Thanks
