I cant believe it.......I looked at my camera memory and I could not find one single pic of the crown of Thorns!! I forgot to take a pic We took them back to the beach and they dug a big hole in the sand and the crown of Thorns were buried in the sand. I found a few broken red tips in my wetsuit at my thigh but luckily none pierced my skin. I was carrying the Crown of Thorns in a bag and must have brushed my thigh. The thorns are poisonous and can cause a nasty rash on the skin.

Actually we took out hundreds off the reefs in Redang. I was told that the situation is much worse in Tioman where huge sections of reef has been wiped out by Crown of Thorns Starfishes.
