hi bro.. beside growing cheato in the sump which actually a fact that it absorb the nutrient from the water which promote Nuisance hairy algae grow, how about red bamboo algae ? QN1 :does red bamboo also serve the same purpose to absorb the nutrient? 3 stages DI serve the purpose of eliminating impurilies which promote nuisance algae growth. beside using DI water, im using those NTUC distill bottle water which indicate impuritilies free according to the label. QN2 : is it much better than DI unit? beside comparing to the cost? tks....

WAH....so many reply and info...thanks all bro. thinking of getting tunze 6060..but will it too strong? or maybe just get K4 will be good enough? well. if k4 as compare to serio 1100 no different, then no pt. in getting. im getting something wider flow and maybe slightly stronger flow rate compare to serio 1100. slightly ... so to conclude k4 or tunze 6060? or just remain as serio 1100 if no different btw k4 and serio 1100

think urs is DISPAR ANTHIAS- LATIN NAME IS PSEUDANTHIAS DISPAR. not all DISPAR have pointed tip. saw these kind at CORAL FARM recently .confirm is the Dispar. i just bought 2 from there. and they even issue the invoice stated the breed, name. dun think coral farm will be wrong in identification.. cheers...but if im really wrong, sorry for that bros.

but according to the coral farm invoice, under their code, was written as Dispar Anthias, Latin Name - PSEUDANTHIAS DISPAR. shouldnt be any mistake if bought from coral farm with black and white as written in the invoice. all the indication and latin name, these and that.. just hopes to confirm..tks bro.. any1?
