IMHO , Paly is much hardly than polyps. Most Paly can actually target feed them with small pellets, or crush pellets to encourage the growth rate. Purple death, Captain America are such example of Paly, Beside its big Polyps, they do have similar tentacle shape. How's the sun bro ?

Looking forward for the tank pic bro. I would suggest you to have a valve control for your return piping. I run a 2-2-2 tank before and was using 1260 return pump. Feel sightly strong , just in case u using 1262 , you still can control the return flow with a valve. For a cube, you can consider making 2 doors for easy access. One on the front, the another can be on the left. You can also consider a fresh water reservoir tank for topping up evaporate water.

I will Op for skimmer if I have LR in the tank. What kind of skimmer you using? Most skimmer comes with pump, guess you are referring to those hang on jebo skimmer which need a feeder pump. Or an external type? It is wise to know the specification flow recommendation for your skimmer, before you decide to spit out the pump for more efficient. Low Tech corals ? Guess you are referring to soft Coral. Corals such as mushroom, leather, star polyps, zoanid etc is easy for starter. They are able to tolerate sightly high nutrient, low light requirment, moderate low flow for mushroom,moderate to high for zoanid, star and leather. You can have some interverbrate such as tube worms, some cleaning crew turbo snails as well. Getting a T5 2ft , 2 tube is good enough for your tank. Complete the Cycle of your tank Is very crucial.
