I think your setup is fine which at the margin line. About the 10% waterchange every 2 weeks, it depends how much you feed and how much your fish poop out. You have to monitor and do measurements in according to success. One slight problem/laziness, you will be sorry. If I were you, I will opt out the fast growing fish example tang. If you plan to feed your anemone everyday, better to have one only. Finally, try to get those mature Live Rocks from reefer here which will be more stable. Try to maintain 1kg/gallon.

Im not the boss and no financial support on him, LOL. I think after the boss see his good apologies, he will decide not to delete.

so that means I have no anthias for free.

just pay wish, and all your wish come true.
-
Thank you, bro. LOL. I advise ppl and still need to thank ppl, LOL.

one seio 620 is enough for such a small tank. Deltec is OK. You not planning any Live Rock? So planning always change water? 2ft tank lowest maintenance still needs lots of job.

Like to add: The fish will be more stress with itch. Suppose you are always itchy every whole part of your body, can you tolerate that? LOL. BTW, I dont mean the yellow-minded itchy.

dipping the fish in copper wont help. Copper only will kill the itch which had dropped off from the fish to breed. While the itch is still attached to the fish, it is protected by the fish slime. Copper also will kill those floating babies itch which are waiting to attach to a suitable host. You will see new fishes doing well because they are new and itch is not infested heavily yet. After few weeks many generations of itch, you will see the fish result. It will frighten you. When you can see a big patch of white spot, that means its heavily infested. Thats why some ppl said a week see itch, a week see no itch. Later see itch again. It is because itch has life cycle. One of the reason why Most LFS prefer their stocks to be export is they dont need to worry about diseases and parasites. There is one LFS that I know never sell anymore tangs to local market but only export. This is the reason too. You ought to know the cycle of the itch. You can find these infos in the internet. Thats why copper solution manufacturer will advise to quarantine with their product for 1 month. If the product can cut short to 1 dip, they will post it down everywhere and will be rich with no competitors of other kinds of solution. This is no argument. The facts are prooven on copper solution for itch since many years ago. Only negative is the fish stress will increase. But this fish is already stress in a new environment jail. So it depends on us how to lower down the stress with other ways.

The danger of Caulerpa macroalgae
reeftask replied to Ah-lim's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
I think the milky only goes away after few days. oo much as seen in the picture. If you have a skimmer, it will be faster. Wah, project double radiation. I better not come close to your area. Or else I will be a zombie. -
chase girl must have flowers or present, LOL. Bro, is the tank made with tinted glass? whats the difference between low-iron glass and normal aquarium glass?

BTW the "toxic corals" doesnt means anemone. It also means torch, elegance,..... Dont tell me that clowns dont host these corals or they are not corals? You win first so I give you some task to do? OK, I win now. Give me all your anthias, LOL.
-
You got me, LOL. Just a joke with you, mean no harm, bro. I dont really care if its not coral la. As long as description that can be understand and message delivered is considered Job Done. I am not writing an essay for examination. PPL always say colgate but it is a brand of tooth paste. Same as Listerine, discman,... so who cares about it. Everyone had done this even a small kid. Lets say we tell our friends that we buy a coral but ended up mushrooms, anemone,... will your friend say,"Hey! why didnt you buy any corals?" If yes, and keep doing this, all the friends will say "BS guy" LOL. This site described it is coral anemone. Maybe you go ahead tell him off? LOL http://www.subaqua.ch/phi253e.htm

What can I gain, LOL. Nothing, but just will offend him. Both parties sorrow. BTW there is no proof that Henry said this. Maybe this guy misundertood what really Henry means. Maybe Henry means anti-body against bacteria infection, or maybe... lots of reasons la. BTW, LFS usually dont do real quarantine or else they go bankrupt. After real quarantine, all cost go up too much. So who will buy such an expensive fish?

The danger of Caulerpa macroalgae
reeftask replied to Ah-lim's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
The internet also revealed caulerpa internally has toxin. Many ppl still stubbornly believe in LFS. Lim, why buy so much algae? -
As above drawing, after the switch is on, there will still have leakage. If there is leakage, the product is lousy. Some new electrical/electronic items will have leakages because of bad designs/insulations.

Itch is a type of parasite and not bacteria or virus. There is no immunity against it. Only some sea animals' skin are not suitable for itch to stick and that doesnt call immunity. If your main tank has itch, some of the fishes will be affected too. If there is itch in the main tank, why do you need to quarantine and let it affected by itch again. Quarantine tank with copper's purpose is to get rid of itch and preventing your main tank to be affected. You must know what is quarantine and its purpose. Did really Henry taught you all of these?

AT had multiple times asking again everyone to read what he is going to do if you guys insisted on posting wrong titles. He will delete your thread without compromise. You want that to happen? For me, just follow, as AT is the boss here except you financial support him, LOL

Holy god! sponge? nightmare! LOL. My seahorse already giving me nightmares when feeding. They are so messy! Now I know chinmo wants to have so much macro algaes. Some fishes just stubborn, rather starve to eat copepods. My sailfin and yellow tangs always eats algae until full. They only eat a bit of frozen mysis. Some other fishes in my tank are stubborn till 1 year now still eat pods only. My mandarin eat pods till so fat and now pregnant. She even killed my pods eating scooter blenny. If I am having Fish only tank, I will have angels too. but now cannot have too many tanks, CEO will say "DECOMM!"

Usually we use sand worm for fishing. Fishes wont eat bristle worm to commit suicide. Those fishes and crabs which eats bristle worm wont take the moving bait.

reeftask replied to marble's topic in General Reefkeeping_
Guys who are keen to be those termostat traders, please dont pm me. I am not doing termostat trading here. Just help out someone who needs urgently when his/hers termostat damaged. If you want to purchase and sell termostat, dont look at me, but look at yourself. I am not your bridge to cross the river. -
