very happy to see you manage to sell the clown too. Is that an eel or goby?
-
Nanotako, I suggset you to read this before starting anything. Best you can read 5-6 more things on beginner's guide on the net.
-
Lots of ppl has lionfish in a 25g tank for many yrs. Friends with clowns? They like to watch clowns in the circus. They prefer to sit in the front row and as near to the clownfish. Only the clownfish refuse to befriend the lion.

You like lion dance? LOL. You will do the jumping up and down dance with this lion too, LOL. And you can see the lion "cai lian" everyday to make you dance again, LOL. You can start the fish and coral even one day and no live rocks or anything. How long will they last? Depends on the owner's patience. If no patience, setup in a hurry, the live stocks will hurry to hell/heaven too. Had replied your message as below. Your question: Firstly thank you for the offer! But is that fish compatible with other fishes e.g. Clown, Tang etc... Answer: In the ocean there are tangs, clowns, lionfish, and millions of other living things all surviving together. Your question: Is it easy to keep and any special food it needs? Answer: It depends how you educate it. Same as other fishes living in the ocean. Your Question: And most important is it dangerous? Answer: Humans are dangerous. Your question: From my research, this fish stings and it is venomous! Answer: As long as you dont touch it, it wont hurt you. Your question: Teach me if I am wrong! Answer: teach what wrong? I am not a teacher. Or you want me to say "Good morning teacher"?

not my lionfish but another reefer's, LOL.

what do you mean attachement to keep water level low? Is your salinity higher than 1.023? Hiher salinity, skimmer works better. Lower salinity, skimmer harder to work so need water level in the skimmer to be higher.
-
medium to high lighting and medium flow. perhaps the place is not suitable so need to shift.
-
Now you have to change water.
-
you have to be careful introducing them into your tank. Not these anemone shrimps are bad but the other things in your tank may be bad. They will eat up your anemone shrimp. Thats why they prefers to host at a toxic corals as protection. My fishes always eat up my anemone shrimps and my percula clowns always want to own all the toxic corals. So no other smaller fish can host my corals. Furthermore, cleaner shrimp cleans fish so most of the time wont be eaten as they are still in need. But anemone shrimp does nothing for them so..., LOL I have a torch branches which is a host for many fishes, LOL. PPL will see non-hosting fishes host my torch ,LOL.

It depends what you want to stick. Mushroom? nothing will work on these high mucus corals.
-
suggest not to disturb it. Its difficult to maintain it to glue in a new spot if you dont have that experience. This will lower down the clam health too.
-
not only nuisance, you will find them pest, LOL.
-
If you have no experience, better dont do it or you will kill it. Attaching it to another place will be hardest.
-
perhaps you should try feeding it fish, LOL. They like to eat fish, LOL. But dont feed too big or else will stuck at the mouth. You can try prawns too.
-
LOL, no wonder the pH is so low, LOL.
-
not think, but what you said is indeed true. Dead LR will start to mature with little bacs after 9 months if no other LR helps. If helped by other LR, maybe 3-6 mths, depends on that helping LR maturity.

Voilitan lionfish. very nice one.
-
so are you satisfy with your salinity after evaporation? If not, lower to 1.024 loh. At my this temperature and salinity, some corals have grow by themselves. My pipefish and seahorse tank has no chiller, so I keep at 1.020 at 29C
-
Fishes are OK, not corals.
-
pH should go up in marine, not down. You have too much calcium and PH 7.2 is very very bad
-
There are some crabs host anemones, octo, hammers,... There are shrimps too that host these corals and these shrimps are nice, reef-safe.

What kind of lighting for you using for LPS?
reeftask replied to koniyakutz's topic in LPS Coral forum
PL is the type of bulb that bends in a U shape. You can find it in LFS and some shoppings. Some examples: http://www.whatwatt.com/subcat.php?CategoryID=8 -
yeah after Singapore decided to follow USA laws, everything have been over-controlled hence price increased on everything. Booming marine market started to go down. After I have heard the officers said should check with AVA dept, I didnt proceed. Just too troublesome and I am not in this trade.
-
I have asked the custome few years ago. They told me that its still a question mark. But they told that different officer has different view. So best I obtain a permit from AVA and customs as now the government is very particular about live things import.

Alamak guys, please dont quarrel la. To be frank and justice. When I see the first post from bgrking, he is just asking stupid question. Do we all eat the shrimp with the shells? Furthermore, before cook its so hard. Then later tang73 posted a joke on him. Yes, he may be pointing that out too boldly but no rudeness seen. Later Alvin, you smoked the fire under him, LOL. let him be. If he is too rude, all of us will smash his words. Lets all drop this. The root of this problem is bgrking, who should not post such things and later ended up this quarrel happens. Relax guys, get a Kit Kat.
