Does your blacky has a flower on top? If no flower then must be flatworm. Sure look haunted in a creepy dark tank, LOL.

I got it from a LFS that had closed up. They ordered from Hawaii shipment four years ago. At that time, I saw only 3 small lump size about 30cm and after persuaded by the LFS, I grabbed all. One of the factors I buy all because it was so cute and many people kept looking at it. Now they had grown into 80-90 cm balls. Previously, seen my tangs grazing on them so put all of them into my second tank. After had cleared all my tangs, I put them back into the main tank. Noticed that they dont need much light but likes more on medium current flow. I placed them at the corner where have good flow but less light for many months now. Seems still OK. One of the lump's top portion is slightly above the water surface and it didnt turn white, very hardy.

I have one algae that I like most and it wont spread like others. It will grow into a ball shape getting bigger and bigger. The growth is slow too so I have never trim it since 2-3 yrs. So far I have 3 big balls of this algae and few small balls that is too slow growing. Anyone else has this algae?

Bad or good service is depends on how lucky the buyer is. Some people may want to release anger abit in order to load off their depression. I think this thread is bad because it will give a wrong idea to newbies. Service, price,... will change according to time but this thread will remain forever. Furthermore it will create unneccessary hatred and conflicts between LFF and LFS. and It is not fair too on other better service LFS that are not named here. I think there is a big factor. Better service means higher price. If you willing to buy a thing that is extra 10%, I will definitely provide a better service. Good service should be left to the profesionals to decide and individuals wish to buy.

having this pest in your tank is a big problem. only solution to take out him with the rock to prevent him from escaping. If you are too afraid to move any lr, thinking too much of the corals, you can leave it there to breed and shift home to prevent you to catch. Its a common sense that only solution is to take out this rock so why did you still hesitate? -

I surrender. This is damn big. 5 inches is a giant. no wonder it said it has a big mouth. Possible the mouth can open up to 2 inches. You cant put this fish in the tank. It will swallow all your babies. -

Its a brown devil !, LOL except he has extra stripes while some dont. BTW the more I look at him, the more I realised he said "What the hell am I doing in here? Such a crampy place. Let me out to the main tank! I have a big mouth to help you eating those Weirdos fishes!" -
one success reefer. especially he said the powerheads. I think you should learn more from this guy. He knows alot.

What other corals you have? Weird clowns. Perhaps they are the real clowns? like in the circus? Luckily they didnt take your other fishes to be the host. My percula clowns like my branch frogspawn then others. Maybe they are very big branch and have lots of hiding space. Before they were mated, one dominant the frogspawn while the other sometimes hangout at my rics or yuma. Sometimes when I feed my corals, they will swim to the hammer branch to standby for snatching foods or harassing me. I have stopped anemone long ago. My research they like best on anemone.

Have you checked this fish on the related internet? I saw somewhere just now but forgotten now. Sorry, you have to do your own homework, LOL All I remembered is belong to the aggresive goby and will kill other goby when comes to its territory. BTW this pic is not good to post here, LOL. It looks very unhappy. -
Sawadi-kap. Kon-Thai? you mean this tank is in Thailand?
-
I do agree we dont need to feed it. I gave up feeding them after many attempts of they closing the mouth so fast.
-
then you have to teach your flock of fish not to mess around with mummy. LOL Standby a stick and wallop them, LOL My perculas are very naughty, always pull the food away from corals even they are too full to eat.
-
dont worry about the holes. the fishes arent that stupid, LOL Holes at this size are actually good for some small fishes to hide there.

LR will absorb copper. No point arguing this. If you want Tangs, you must have quarantine tank. You can choose not to have a quarantine tank but risk is yours and fishes are yours too. If you dont think you want to add tang anymore, you can throw away the quarantine tank. If you still want to add a tang months later, why dont let this quarantine tank cycles? If months later, your tank have parasites again, this means you shortcut everything hence resulting destroying everything again. You can keep algaes or inverts but eventually some will die off if your LR are coppered. Hypo salinity is bad for the fish health? Certainly yes. Keeping the fish in your tank will damage their health too. Fish, corals, inverts will strive better in the oceans and not our tanks. It depends on which shop. Some shops salinity at 1.025. Some tanks at some shop varies from 1.019 to 1.26. Who cares? I just care my tank to be in my range. It is best to check on the internet what suits you. Asking around here will not do you good much. Every fortnight people asking here about this and that without even check up first what they need. So most reefers are fed up and not answering. If you want to ask something here, pls check on the internet first. Forum will be the last resort to final judgement if you still in doubt.
