and the crab eats all the crap, LOL. free cleaning service? -
LOL, nice one
-
perhaps like human, vomit white bubble. LOL
-
yeah, many yrs ago, eaten by other snails, caught right handed. now I only keep turbo and they had produced so many small ones. some went into the overflow and some in my sump. But my sump has nothing and sooner or later they will up to heaven

yeah, there is no light that can compare to the sun. Only afraid algae blooms and always must change water. Corals are found at hundreds of meters depths that our tank are uncomparable. Our tanks max only below a meter depth. Light after penetrating these deep depth are reduced tremendously. Furthermore the sea has more stable parameters than our tank.

How big are these four fishes? If the purple tang is small, wanna sell? LOL
-
It depends what temperature your tank water is. If its 35C, I recommend Discus. It really depends what you want. A priority on lionfish or stonefish? Perhaps sharks?

and get a shotgun ready. I think a Harlequin Shrimp is introduced without your knowledge. Had that experience yrs ago.

If we humans cant consume, the fish too. Corals are more sensitive. Basically, who will add extra cost of chemicals when a normal plain will do. I only afraid the industrial dirts are attached. You cant believe those big businessman will do just to gain money. Thats what you can see in China now only here is safer. Low Crime doesnt mean no crime so you will get what I meant. -
yeah, you heard what the man said. I think silicate had increased too. Your tank is only 24gallon, so its very small and so even a few live stock will create havocs. Try to upgrade with a bigger tank or a sump and increase old LR.

A friend decided to decom and change his tank for freshwater tank. He is selling his 2-3 yrs live rocks which is about 40-50kgs. As I know he has some tonga branches, lots of flat and big rocks too. Interested pls pm me for his number. So sorry no pictures available. BTW he is in the west side.

Glad that your clowns spawned frequently. That means they are really acclimated in your tank. They will provide you good experiences.
-
I think they will be the same. I ever jailed my clowns for each time few weeks but later the same after released. I had jailed them 3 times and still cant able to see their own mistakes. ER at home? U have extra blood bank and oxygen? and all the tools? LOL

some sites said not reef safe. So do you want to gamble? I wont, I place them in my seahorse tank. They wont eat detritus and worms but they will find leftover food at the detritus,... But they cleaned better than snails. As for the black pepper, I dont think you will waste time to cook a small dish, LOL

its ok. how many micron? I think I wont say micron, LOL Its 50 microns for requirement international standard but lots of ppl sell the lousy ones and claims they are the same. 50 microns will choke up faster on commercial usage so shops dont like that. Whether any chemicals, I dont think so, ppl will die. -
yeah. you should know this LFS too. http://www.riptidesreef.com/

yeah the name "hawk" already tells you that.

bro, u better look out on the camel shrimp. when the fish comes, did this shrimp takes the step backward? or just stay there. if just stay there, be careful. it is not well and something is wrong. what type of cleaner shrimp not surfacing? the normal ones? if they didnt come out, means they are wasted. I will check the water as these shrimps dont die that easily.
-
well, im going to diy a fry tank also for shrimp. I can diy at the same time for you too. but under condition, dont rush me, LOL
-
it depends how much sunlight able to penetrate the windows. if too much, algaes grow. too little, clam not enough light.

Peppermint shrimps & Aiptasia
reeftask replied to ming69's topic in Disease treatment/parasite/pest control
thats why I no longer keep these cleaner shrimps. I only keep peppermint and coral banded. Yesterday I noticed bothe the purple coral banded had start to come out for feeding. I dont like this as Iwant them to find worms and eat. best find some fish shit to eat, LOL. I am becoming to afraid that they will steal the corals food. I already have a bad time with both of percula. Although they are full full till stomach too big, they still like to harass me by stealing the coral food and throw away. -
thats why we have ER in hospital. LOL. where is marine ER? powder blue is very nice but they are very aggressive among tangs. your yellow tang will definitely bully the new exact shape fish like sailfin tang. but after certain, they will be OK as yellow tang are in the medium aggressive among tangs. but some reefers' powder blue seems to create havoc even 1 year. And some after recognizing that they have no choice to share tank, they become OK with other fishes. I think fishes like human so after carry balls and sweet talk, they become OK. Even my clowns are big bullys, always try to become big boss whenever a new fish is introduced. The clowns dont care if the fish is bigger size and both will bully the new fish together.

no, they will only bite you.

had shrimp in quarantine tank with tang. temperature 32.5C and still OK. the temperature wont kill them. I think the water condition and pH will kill them. had tried once nothing to do and accidentally added too much calcium and still didnt notice pH in this quarantine tank went down. The shrimps will show unwilling to clean the fish and not eating. This is a bad sign. Fish still OK. When the shrimp dying, I only noticed the pH is too low, 7.8pH star is not hard to keep but you have to feed them.
