now your biggest problem is to cure this fish. Do you have the type of slime coat medicine? If yes, triple dose it. Better use good brands and they are more better effect. You must monitor at all times that your water is at its best condition. Try to store more new water to change 10% every 12 hrs so this to maintain clean water. Please bear in mind that the new water must really good parameters condition too. Do you have any small separation container that has holes and can be place in the main tank? If yes, place this fish in there so other fishes/shrimps are unable to futher disturb the wound. Dont feed too much but feed a bit every few hrs, maybe 6 hrs. Other fishes, feed less.

well, the dog dewormer is so easy to get from any vets. I still have one tablet in my fridge. I never use on my seahorses. I only use it for my dog. I never even try to find those seahorse dewormers. I remembered I once bought a dewormer from a shop in Bukit Batok on 7 yrs ago for my discus. That shop now closed many yrs. BTW where did you get the dewormer from? Exotic shop? Which erotic shop?

Fenbendazole which is a brand name for Panacur is most popular used to deworm seahorse. However it is not reefsafe and will attached into Live Rock. So it is only used in an empty Quarantine tank. Fenbendazole is an inexpensive anthelmintic agent (dewormer) used for large animals such as horses and later introduced to seahorses because wild seahorse has this problem too. Some people in USA used dog dewormer on seahorses but some said side effects. There are prazipro, anthelmintic agent,... used as dewormer too. There are several brands of dewormer in the market but not sure if Singapore market has them.

UV will kill everything that is in its path. I dont know how effective it is. Some reefers say non effective while some say good. I personally didnt use it. I use hypo and copper in quarantine tank. I just wont put any Tangs without quarantine up 2 months. Bad history taught me to do so. Becareful when you have UV. After UV killed those things, ammonia will go up slightly but if you have good stable tank, it should be OK. You should be glad they eat like pigs. This means they will strive. if they dont eat, we all will be stressed. Usually white spots will dissappear and reappear not within a day but weeks. You didnt post a pic. This case needs pic to verify.

My Seahorse tank LR is too crowded with LR. These LR has been 3 yrs with me and has no worms nor pest. Only has 2 hermits crabs and one purple coral banded shrimp. Only clearing half of the LR. You can choose from the 15 inches LR to 4 inches LR. The 15 inches LR weights 6 kgs and considered damn big. Jurong area. $3/kg. No pictures. No coraline algae as this tank only use normal flurescent lamp as the hermits always craze on the LR and low calcium, high kH properties so coraline algae wont grow in this tank. Please bear in mind that there is a rock which a zoa grow by itself, I intend to keep. So later please dont say anything when I last minute remember and say no to this particular rock. Please only for people who are really interested to buy LR.
