  1. If you're near VivoCity / Tiong Bahru Plaza, can come to view. a few pieces of fist-sized.
  2. See how these 3 subjects can be related: http://www.ted.com/talks/margaret_wertheim...coral_reef.html
  3. Deluxe is the one that comes with media basket and surface skimmer. $100 Location between Vivocity and Tiong Bahru Plaza
  4. Thank you Bro Fuel. These are pics of their parents (sold already) Their offsprings still available. $15 each, 4 for $55. View at Lower Delta Road
  5. Size around 1.5 inches. Some are misbar / unique markings. Eating all types of fish food. $15 each View at Teresa Ville, Lower Delta Road in evenings.
  6. Get as big a Eheim as you can, like those suited for 4 ft tank, eg 2217 or 2228.
  7. I've 4 pc of 2ft tank for T-loan.
  8. I've an Eheim canister filter running since 1989. You won't regret it.
  9. My T5 HO 54W Blue and White shines onto the people viewing the tank at close range, so wondering if the lights release UV rays that are harmful to human? Don't want to get a sun tan or skin cancer
  10. Bro, You remember seeing my breeding black percula at Lower Delta Road? The smaller pair for $120
  11. New Aqua Medic Biostar Flotor (never touched water) $220 Used RedSea Prizm $70
  12. Options: 1. Spray WD40 2. Apply grease - those used for car door hinges (can pass you what I'm left with) 3. Paint with rust-proof paint, but not sure will it prevent the door from closing properly.
  13. My guess is that they were doing their mating dance. I would put them back together.
  14. I would add LR, and a few freshwater mollie (sold as feeder fish) to start the cycling. Mollie will survive in SW, don't even need to acclimatise. When it is time to remove them, they are easy to catch out (unlike damsel fish which some use for the cycling process). I would let the tank cycle for 1 month. Just my 2 cents' worth. BTW if you're still looking for a protein skimmer for your 2 feet, I have: Red Sea Prizm ($70) Red Sea Prizm Pro ($100) AquaMedic Biostar Flotor (never touched water) ($220)
  15. LR each around 20 cm. Nice shape. Weipro preferably for experienced user only as I have no experience using them after getting them from fellow reefers - so can't advise new users. Collection at Lower Delta Road, between Vivo City and Tiong Bahru. Need to clear ASAP or will throw them away. PM me your contact. Sorry will only reply those I wish to deal with.
  16. I've an Eheim 2217 with additional quick release clamps for the hoses (don't know the exact name for it). Media: Ceramic ring only, can throw in bioballs in you want. (keeping Biohome for future use). Still in operation so you can view first. If you prefer it cleaned up, let me know first. Hard to estimate how long it has been used, maybe 7 years. $80 firm. I've another one still in operation since 1989.
  17. How about between Vivo City and Tiong Bahru? $10 for 2011. Also available $10 for 2013
  18. I'm using a Aquamedic SL hangon for bracing of 6cm. Believe another 0.6 cm should be no problem.
  19. Coraline encrusted LR in my 4ft FOWLR, with me for 2 years. $15 for all. Bring your own pail (3X). Weipro 2011 and 2013 Protein Skimmer. Without powerhead. $10 each. Location: Lower Delta Road, Between Vivo City and Tiong Bahru Not for fussy buyer. Sorry, will only reply those who respond first.
  20. At this size, they should be ready to spawn anytime already. Just give them a terra cotta flower pot as their cave. $50
  21. Some reefers may have fish traps to loan you. Where is your location? If not, LFS do sell them.
  22. I think the bac would have died if left in stale water for 3 mths. Better wash everything clean and consider it a new start-up. Another tip I learned is: if you're storing your canister or any other powerheads, keep the magnetic impeller dry and separately (like in a ziploc bag) or else the impeller tends to rust.
