The 250W AB does have a good spectrum spread compared with the Sakis which peak in the yellows and greens... the 400W Sakis however peaks incredibly ...... compared to the other bulbs..... another thing, how does the AB Aqualine retails here??? think I could get 3 years supply of Saki bulb for the price of one AB........

If you are refering to a new sump/refugium, do a search on "sump" and " refugium" and you get a whole lot of advice and pics to help you...... Plus many excellent designs for sumps... My personal favourites are 1) Spades 2) Eprouves 3) Yazid

Daryll, They are refering to the 10kks with spike in the Violets... therefore requirement for actinics not really important.. the other bulbs would require as they lact violets, theay peak more in the blue... Think my Bluelines peak in the violets too...... BTW, since we are in this topic ...titled...something to share, So would like to share something ..... I'm currently with 2 x 400Ws Bluelines, with the intention to change to Radiums, and a 250W Sakis.... and am thinking of converting all bulbs to AB Aqualines... Hope to keep my total MH Wattage below 800Ws...... However, have one concern after some conversation with a few fellow reefers, that is , heard that AB bulbs might have QC issues....and you might not get the same result with every bulb??? Pospeh, you might like to comment here.... Anyone to comment and advise regarding the switch and the QC issue??

Hmmmm Iwaki???? you mean Iwasaki...... Well, the Saki ray can definitely enlighten........ Do you have the understanding that the 6500k is very,very yellow.....and you will need lots....really lots of actinics to balance it up....... another alt would be the 20kk bulbs.... for that, you need to consult Barracuda or rrobert... they are currently using them..... And the 6500k come only in SE, but the 20kks in DE and SE...... Any more enlightening required???? BTW, the 20kks looks very good....IMO, blusih white.real pleasant to the eyes.... only thing is that theres no record of the spectrum output and PAR of the bulb... Maybe you can ask EYE for some specs......

Dino, Before you proceed any further, ther might be a major issue with your light diffusers.... the entire plate is only balanced at the edges .... hope you know that liverock stacked up would be rather heavy.... so do recommend that you distribute out the weight bearing abilities of your stacker by adding more pieces in the mid section of each plate..... and hus to add on.... placing the pieces perpendicular to each other would strengthen the whole structure by alot....

Well, I dun mind taking 3 tubes....... will come in handy for future usage...

HI Reefers, I have the following to trade.... 1 x 2.5 ft PL light pendent ( 2 x 36 Watt) (E ballast) * 6000 k Osram tube * 10 000 k Coralife tube. (both tubes used only for 1.5 months) to trade for 2 x 18W E- Ballast (each ballast must be able to handle 2 x 15 W FLs) 4 x 15W FL tubes ( must be at least 6500 k and above ...) And reflectors for 4 FLs... + connectors etc.........
