  7. Bro, my Qs may sound stupid but i think it is valid also.. Did you mixed your salt in the tank itself or you aerate it in a seperate container and then do water change?? If not, then i suggest you go some LFS to buy enough NSW to do a 80% water change. May sound risky though but with the kind of parameters you are having now, doing a 80% water change may looks like a viable choice. Your LS may have a chance of survival...

  11. Hi bros, Anyone had experience using the Schuran Jetskim Pico Calcium Reactor? Thinking of getting one due to the small footprint but unsure if it is sufficient to cater to the needs of my tank. From the pics, there don't seem to have a pH probe holder.. My tank size measure 3ft by 1.5ft by 1.5ft + sump + refugium. Total volume: 60gal Calcium demanding corals: 1 colony of yellow milli & 3 small frags of assorted SPS. => Stocking should be considered low. Can share your precious review on this product? Please also state the followings: 1. Size of tank 2. Heavy, medium or low stocking of calcium demanding corals like SPS..
  12. Hey bro, I believe the value of KH cannot be taken as a sole reading itself. It should be maintain in relation to the other 2 critical value like pH & Ca. If KH is high>10 and a high pH>8.5, it is not possible to maintain a high calcium level as most of it will be precipitate out from the seawater. Natural seawater have a KH of 6. IMO, a KH of between 8 - 9 should be good. I maintain mine at 8. All in all, i believe it is he delicate balance of the 3 component together rather than getting the values correct for each individual.. Just my 2ct... u may disagree...

  15. Nice zoas collection, bro... NICE
  16. Totally agree. A good piece of equipment...
  17. Bro, i think you could dip the probe into vinegar. Anyway, vinegar is a very weak acid. Pinpoint monitor suppose to measure solution in the acidic range as well and the probe is an inert material.. Alternatively, you may want to dip the probe in vinegar but off the Pinpoint monitor lor
  18. Hey bro, dun feed it la. i bought a bi-color prata with similar condition in Sep. My 1st corals so did not know it was already bleached and bone exposed.
