  4. Brother be patient. Nowadays with bacteria and live sand min 2-4 weeks. Last time 2-4 months lol ... If u bother to test NH4 and NO2 u may add live stock once both are zero, otherwise wait.
  5. To speed up the cycling process u can dose bacteria (liquid form faster) and best if u can use live sand.

  10. How long hv u started the cycling process? Using cured or uncured rocks?
  11. Can throw in the prawn (small pc will do, no need if ur live rocks has dying sponge etc) and bacteria immediately. No need to wait.
  12. No problem .... Good to dose beneficial / nitrifying bacteria to speed up the cycling process.
  13. In fact I jet spray with fresh water followed by a good 10min soak in fresh water. This will force out most of the pest like crabs, mantis shrimps etc. Dun worry the beneficial bacteria will grow back. This is for uncured live rock.
  14. Tang should be fine. I hv one Blue and one Kole Tang in my 30g. Both fat fat [emoji6]

  17. Ya agreed! Overdose anything can kill everything ... so always dose 1/2 - 3/4 of the recommended dosage; I learnt this the hard way [emoji23]

  20. Add salt mix with higher SG gradually. DO NOT increase SG too sudden.
  21. Brother your tank is not very big so be cautious on adding too many live stock within a short period. Monitor your NO3 and PO4
