+1..........me set my temp at 26.5-27.5 consistently. IMHE...In 2 ocassion, firstly my chiller pump mulfunction and brought temp to 31.5 deg and suffered 3 collonies STNed. Second forget to on back chiller after maintenance and temp raise to 30+ deg. without any sps casualty.

Hi reefers, Due to upgrading my lighting, have some MH light redundant in storeroom. All are in good working condition unless notify. They are about 2-4years old. 1) 2 sets of Victron MH 250W SE build in magnetic ballast. Casing edges abit rusty need to do some touch up. Have served me good for a year and stored for 2years, selling at $25@ nego. 2) 2 sets of DE Lights (pro series) MH 150-250W SE dimmerble Electronic ballast. Little rust at screws only but to mention one of the ballast could only blast up from low 150W- 200W some of the component need to be repaired. So giving away one 250W electronic ballast for the compliment. They had served me for 8mnth, selling at $40@ nego. 3) 2 sets of Hamilton MH 250W build in magnetic ballast. Little rust also at the screws only. Still serving good my frag tank about 6mnths, selling at $50 @ nego. 4) Giving away FOC a sets of working pendent MH light 175W with magnetic ballast. Another FOC one set of 150W ballast with missing mogul (you have to fix yourself) All MH come with SE bulb of various brand and Kelvin rating at your own preference age around 8mnth to a year. FCFS, Pilot pls stay away. Collection at CCKang. PM me if interested and will give a 5days personal warranty.

Just my piece of advice, if you can afford to get a standy chiller 1 hp, in case. IME that within 4hrs cut off chilling the tank temp rise at 31degree, 25% my SPS RTNed. No doubt I do have MH cut off at 30degree set. Do consider, if you really concern for your investment. You just dont know when Murphy's Laws go wrong. Anyway you have a good set up so far. Yap you have all in line bro, alot of good advice given by Marc no doubt. My 2cts, some people fail in keeping sps is because of lack of committment and dedication. SPS keeping is not simple. You need TIME. No time you will neglect alot of things. 3 fundemental principle in Time Management: Time to learn and study from any sources and community, Time to manage your system maintenance well and Time to work to get Money to spend for them (system and stock) Am not an expert still learning, never end that is what in my view and MHE.

My AquaMedic Kalkwasserstirrer motor life span had down. Anyone have such stirrer spare- lid with motor? Or anyone have other unuse Kalk reactor so as to replace mine, if cant get my replacement part. Appreciate if you can PM me with your offer.
