Leopard wrasse is definately reef safe. Yes, it's a shy fish and if you do a google on this fish, it's not a very easy fish to keep. It's best you get this fish if it's feeding and has been properly quarantine. The maldives one is my favourite

There could be monti eating nudis in yr montis. Mine also turned white at the base all of a sudden when they seem to be growing a month back. Found out that there were nudis on them. Look carefully to spot white stuff on the montis. They are really small. Best if you could remove them from yr tank. Snip off the dead part and also use a toothbrush to brush them off. Try to do a through brushing. A freshwater dip or quarantine them for a month would be good too to get rid of the eggs. They nudis population spread really fast so you'll have to monitor them closely.

Anywhere with strong lighting is fine as long as the clam doesn't topple. Some clams are placed on LR at top area so that the lights can reach them better. Others place them on sand bed but they use MH so the strong rays of MH can reach them. I've tried both and as I'm only using T5, my clams placed at the bottom slowly loose their colours. By the time I move them back upwards, it's too late so my advise is to place them on top if you're not using MH .

In my opinion, 1. I feel that rockscape is way too packed. It's more pleasing to the eye with less LRs. Yeah, do away with the dead corals. 2. I prefer shallow sand bed (abt 2") so as not to trap detritus. 3. 2 wks cycling is too short. It's better to cycle at least a month for cured rocks or 2 mths for uncured rocks. Better to play safe and respect the marine life. It's not just the $ that you're throwing away as clown fishes can be cheap but more importantly, they are living creatures. 4. Before adding lifestock after cycling period, pls check yr ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. Make sure ammonia and nitrite is 0 before adding LS.

Yes, you'll need to target feed yr suns for them to open. Feed a little first just to entice them to open before giving them the main feed.

Hi Solo. It's always good to plan early for your tank so that you can make provisions in your new house design for certain things like dedicate DB for electrical supply. Also to make water change easier etc. As for tank designer, it's individual preference and budget. U can talk to a few and u decide which one you prefer. My tank was designed by Reef Systems and I will recommend anyone who is looking for a good set-up and good service to go to them. They are not cheap though. PM me if you want to visit them. Of course you can save cost by DIY but you won't consider that option unless you are good with piping work and have tons of experience in tank set-up or else you'll live to regret it later.
