  1. Would only get from SL. How do u de-worm the fish? I bought a par30 and not par38. Price is comparable to par38. Par38 is brighter but bulkier.
  2. Hi. Selling these frags as a package only. Take all at $80. No individual sale. Collection at Depot Rd. Respond by SMS 81117171. 1. Yellow body, green polyp Prostrata or Milli 2. Maroon Prostrata or Milli 3. Light pink Acro Sp 4. Pink Acro Sp 5. Sunset Milli
  3. I just got 2 pcs of the Par30 LEDs from Aquarium Artist. Vincent for your excellent service. I have been waiting for a smaller version of the par38 and immediately when they arrived, I didn't hesitate. Aesthetics and flexibility of positioning are important so I selected the track mounting. The 2 smaller LEDs at each corner of my tank are my DIY moonlights. Idea came from Jack. Tank with just the Par30 on Tank with moonlights and Par30 on. This is when my ATI PM is switched off.
  4. You have a lot of nice stuff yourself. Don't forget me when you have frags of your pink digi and purple BN
  5. Hi Ketchup & Desi The Blackcap is my longest surviving fish - 3+ years now. It has been with me through thick and thin. It's only the boss of it's cave. Desi, next time if I see nice clams, I'll text you. Can pm me your hp no. ?
  6. I tried once. Got it from SL at a super healthy condition but I had a green wrasse in my tank then so probably that was the cause of the death. Heard from Thomas Lim that no reefers here had success in keeping this fish alive. Well, I would want to try again if SL brings in another time. Lemon, let me know if SL brings in again.
  7. Hi Thomas MIA so long and then throwing in the towel. Other priorities in life huh? Maybe next time come back to this hobby again in your new house?
  8. A good water source, along with your weekly husbandary goes a long way in maintaining your reef tank. Last shot of the day, FTS for the new year, Jan 2011
  9. Now to feature my fishes. I'm not very good at taking moving shots of fishes so pardon my shots. Got these when they were babies from Fuel. JK, they are not Picasso clowns lei; definately true perc. Australian Black Ocellaris, also got them when they were babies. The rest of my fishes - Blackcap Gramma Basslet, Macropharyngodon bipartitus (2 pcs), Iridis / Radiant Wrasse (2 pcs) These fishes are all very stable and on pellets. I've completed my fish list so would not be adding anymore unless a healthy Macropharyngodon Chaoti wrasse comes along . Except for the Blackcap, most of these fishes are the non aggressive species and 100% reef safe fishes. I'm not taking any chance of getting angels and butterflies as I'm too fond of my meaty LPS such as Scolymias and Trachyphyllia radiata.
  10. Mini-carpets. I was lucky that most of mine (except 1) attached themselves in visible locations. Joe, that red has recovered My 2 squammy clams
  11. Time to update... Left & right side of the tank These are 2 of my favorite milli & prostrata colonies Don't really fancy encrusting montis except for the nice ones such as rainbow, superman and those tonga ones.
  12. Yup, agree with Ray that nano has it's own beauty. I would recommend you pick small non-aggressive fishes like gobies, fire fishes, true perc etc. Do a research of the fishes you want to get for yr tank and the order of introducing them into yr tank as they might fight with each other. Add livestock very slowly as your bacteria culture is not established yet. When reading yr thread, you have probably jump into adding livestock too quickly. Be patient. You should at least cycle yr tank for 2 mths before adding ls and add them sparringly. To speed things up, you could add bacteria. I'm using fuana Marin bio with bak. This will help in your algae bloom. You should do weekly water change for a few months until you see less algae in yr tank. That's the price you pay for adding too many LS too quickly. Remember, patience is the key to an enjoyable reef tank.
  13. That was a yellow base, purple polyp encrusting monti. Also from tonga shipment. Yeah, looking for such montis and I think they can only be found in tonga shipments. Next time, if u see any of such montis, must grab! Will be happy to share with it with you man! You are always early for shipments so good chance of grabing the gems
  14. I like yr blue polyp monti. Pity that I missed that shipment as I didn't have the car that day. Tonga shipments have nice rare montis. When it's grown to a sizable size, can sell me a frag?
  15. Always enjoy looking at your gem invested tank
  16. When measuring yr salinity, it shd be way up high on yr hydrometer or refractometer. Meaning, using a lot more of salt mix so you might want to get a cheap salt mix when cycling yr tank.
  17. You bet! These lrs come with lots of hitch hikers. Some boil them to get rid of them or if you still want them to be "live" (u paid so much for them), you can soak them in high salinity water so as to kill the hitch hikers. Good to soak them overnight with aeration.
  18. Hey lemon, the sps were not cheap lei. Only saw 1 shop selling and not as cheap as ours. I wasn't impressed with their selection as well. Maybe, I went at a bad time.
  19. Nice rock scaping work, sis! I always like the unclutered look. You'll have a lot of bottom space for yr meaty LPS Are the 1st and 2nd pic options? If they are, I prefer the 1st one.
  20. This is part and parcel of cycling. Good for you to run a skimmer if possible, have some flow in the tank and do weekly water change for a few mths. Don't add any LS and dont need any lights while cycling. Good for you to search for crabs if you're using live rocks at night so you can make plans to take them out of the tank while u cycle yr tank.
  21. Thanks tang master for posting that pic of the cynarina that looks like a bubble. Let's see if it will open even bigger.
  22. Hi. Do you still have your 3 ft T5 light set? PM or sms (81117171) me if you still have them. Tks.
