Nice scaping as always, ming! So many nooks and cranies to slot the sps!

I got mine from Gary's BO.

I change mine when reading climbs to abt 4.

I have 9 fishes in total so I don't think the pastel is because low bio-load. I will try to add potassium chloride and see if any difference.

After adding 2xPar30 to supplement my existing 6-tubes ATI powermodule, found some colour improvements on some sps. Eg, managed to get a blue tinge on my pink millis. Since then, I added another Par38 on the track. What I like about this track is that I'm able to slide the holder along the track to focus on selected sps placements. Switch on the Pars for a total of 5-hours. Attached are some pics on the par30 & 38 bulbs and 2 moonlights. Tremendous growth rate on all my BN, esp the yellow. However, they are all so pastel. Even my supposing Ponape, BOP (from Jack) & bi-colour (from Wilson) are all pink when placed in my tank. Some Digis (orange, lime green & purple blue) on the left of my tank. Wilson, your bi-colour is below the orange digi. Your pink digi is beside it as well but in my tank, it's orange

Hi lemon. How is yr chaoti doing? Still in holding tank?

My opinion on: 1. Do u intend to keep any wrasses or gobies that need sandbed such as leopard, radiant wrasses...? Sand bed do give a natural feel so I prefer my tank with sand bed. Some people (ESP sps keepers) go without because they are afraid of sand storm. I know of people who put different sizes of sand in their low and high flow areas. 2. Yr light fixture is mounted to yr tank and not ceiling mounted right? Yr sps on the top doing alright or do u think they need more light? U can take this opportunity to change the scape to give you more top real estate space for more light demanding acros. I always find lacking of top real estate space. Yr lps corals at the bottom might bleach a bit if the lights are too strong due to change of light intensity so if you can put some in shade first would be good. As for the placement of corals, it's very much test and adjust accordingly. Yr bottom space are normally left for bn, monti, digi. In my opinion, the 1.5 ft height is very ideal for keeping sps.

Hi desi, nice clams are hard to come by so when you see it, must grab fast! Pm me Yr Hp no. So if I do come across nice clams, I'll SMS u. Got 1 very nice green nice pattern maxima for my mentor at an unbelievable price. That clam would have been in my tank if I still had sand bed space .

Some micro shots of some sps. Just got this purple Porites & blue Digi, maroon polyp (pic below) from GO shipment yesterday. Sorry, cant get a close up shot of the blue digi but I like the contrasting colours of that pc. An encrusting Monti from Pinnacles My collection of clams (2xsquammies & maximas) My collection of BN. There supposed to be a Ponape and BOP but cant bring out the colours Last shot for the day No more space for anymore colonies so will just concentrate in maintaining the tank and letting the frags grow .

Accidentally press reply without tagging the pic. This DIY moonlights idea came from Jack.

Hi iceman. Mia for a long time. Good to see you back into reefing. U may not remember me but we used to meet and chat during Iwarna's shipment days. R u still travelling often for work? Anyway, now that you're back, I'm sure I'll be seeing you around during shipments again. You're one of those rare ones that have a huge tank in the kitchen Another awesome tank in the making!
