  1. It's so easy updating my tank thread using tappatalk.... Old time favourites... Fiji hot pink bn. Kept it for the longest time but see how slow it grows. Bn is usually the fastest grower but not this baby. Red Hyacinthus from pinnacles oz shipment. Shared this pc with a gentleman. A gentleman he was by letting me have a bigger pc.
  2. Lck sps shipment Turquoise with blue tinge postrata. Thought the colour was unique. Can't wait to see how it would turn out in my tank in a few weeks' time. Bright greenish yellow postrata. Was drawn to it's brightness. Thank you Alvin (tht79) for letting me have this pc!
  3. Reddish pink spatulata from oz land. First time seeing a spatulata growing like a stag. As my tank is too crowded, couldn't give it a good spot so base is now white. Since the base is white, my yellow birdnest is supporting this pc so that it could have more flow and light. Blue stag from Pinnacles. Love the colour and corallites. Pale red milli from pinnacles. Thank you Edwin for putting these 2 pcs aside for me!
  4. Trying out tappatalk... Was home this afternoon so took some close up pics of some new and old stuff.
  5. Purple digi. Frags available during MASS frag sale
  6. 6 mths in aug. my blue lined pipe fish re-appeared. I only keep peaceful and timid fishes and not jumpers in this nano so shouldn't loose any fish in that manner.
  7. I keep getting missing fishes and I can't find their bodies. Just yesterday, I saw my blue neon goby and blue line pipefish swimming around and today both went missing and I can't even find their bodies. Here's a pic of my sharknose goby.
  8. As I am approaching Aug, I am experimenting with a few sps frags - birdnest, digs, montis. Decide to make it more spacious by removing some rocks. Removed the zoas from the rock as it was accumulating detritus. The zoas are now on my sand bed. Supplementing my razor nano with a par 38 and another cheap LED. See the pic of the equipment and set-up of this tank. Kalk hooked up to a top-up, FR with Rowa phos media, Reeflive skimmer and UTS as nutrient exporter. Dosing micro bacter 7 and biofuel.
  9. Have not gone much to chiong shipments other than clams. Bought the electric blue squammy and an ultra grade maxima from Iwarna but lost both when I placed them in my nano tank. I guess my nano tank wasn't ready yet. Heart pain man! Recently bought a few others less expensive mini maxims and a derasa. I'm now using the Jabao wp 40 and 25 on this tank. W1 function really rocks! Love the different modes but most of the time use w1 for 40 and else mode on 25. I do at times have intermittent problems with the wp 40; therefore, I just bought another set to keep as spare and still keep my tunze. Look at the wave it's making. My weekly routine maintenance is on sat morning. Cleaning the tanks and changing water. I am using FM ultra Lith, bio, bak, amin, reef vitality, colour elements. This is my centre pc and my favourite - Pink milli. I use it to keep my perimeters in check. I have not added any fishes except for corals. My current fish count is 4. A pair of true perc, 1 black cap, 1 radiant wrasse. That's all for now.
  10. Does the impeller start and stop on "else" and w3 mode?
  11. They are under the my nano razor lights. Pic is taken with my iPhone. What you see is what you get. You can view first and if you don't like it, you don't have to get it. Tks.
  12. Have these 3 frags FS. I have ID them from coralpedia.com to be Blue Star and Black Cherries. Feel free to correct me if I have ID them incorrectly . Left frag: $25 Right frag: $28 Top frag of about 15 polyps of blue star: $30 Collection at Depot Rd only. FCFS. Thanks!
  13. Yes, so nice of you to hand deliver the gifts to my door step. Tks once again for your kind gesture.
  14. Your scape and placement of corals gives the 3D and depth effect. Love it! Also love your stags! I'm belle, the lady who shared the Hyacinthus with you
  15. Hey Alvin, yours even nicer. Hidden dragon yet to be known. Just quietly collect all the nice zoas only.
  16. My neon and yellow lined are co-existing well with a bit of chasing at times but does not bother the other too much.
  17. Discovered that if I use the preset 2 settings, I would have my blues running on 1% the whole night so I changed to automatic setting. Here are my settings for those who want to use it as reference. 1. 9.30am a: 0% b: 1% 2. 11.30am a: 10% b: 50% 3. 1330 a: 70% b: 80% 4. 2000 a:50% b: 70% 5. 2130 a: 5% b: 20% 6. 2230 a: 0% b: 0%
  18. Marc, tks for the offer but collecting it from you would be be a problem so you use it for yourself.
  19. Sherman, I bought the skimmer from Vincent, Aquarium Artist. I can't really remember the price so best to call to check with him. Just tell him the same skimmer for Belle's tank and he will know. Price is really reasonable.
  20. Added in 2 new toys this week - 1. Nano Razor 2. Triple sensor auto top-up system (ordered online from Fish-Street) linked to a Kalkwasser reactor. As I slowly stock up this tank, new gadgets are added. The last of my equipment for this tank would be a dosing unit, FR with PO4 removal and WP25. That would be when I add in SPS. 1. Nano Razor You can search the specs online. I'll just share my personal experience using this light set. When I read about it in Reefbuilders, I decided to choose this lightest for my nano. Reasons were: Economical, perfect size and light coverage, full light spectrum, latest LED technology, and after sales support by local distributor (DE Lightings). There are 3 modes to choose from - manual, preset and automatic. I chose the preset 2 mode which includes the moonlight. Fixed percentages for channel a and b from 0700 - 2200. Peaks from 1200-1800. Mounting is simple and light set is sleek and light. I'm happy with it so far. Will be interested to see how it will fare on SPS which will be much later. Will just be adding Bird Nest and Digis. I continued to use my par38 (2pm-7pm), although it's not really needed at this moment. 2. Triple sensor auto top-up unit (ordered online from fish street.com) linked to a kalkwasser reactor. Evaporation rate for this tank is quite high as it's outdoors with no doors to cover the sump. This is my first time ordering marine stuff online and it was delivered in 3 weeks. This unit cost me about $75 with delivery. Set-up is quite simple. The following are some top down shots I took on my zoas and clams with the nano razor. I'll let the pics do the talking as everyone loves to look at pics. Blue squammy and maxima clam. Top down are best for viewing clams.
  21. I'm using Brightwell Microbacter and Biofuel for this tank.
  22. Peace, they are probably gone. It has been weeks.
  23. James, both tanks are not connected. It's just that during my weekly wc, I re-use the water from my sps tank and siphon into the nano.
