the only thing is that there is a possibility that the dead rocks might leech back phosphate into the tank. But I would not be too concern. prob some algae boom, thats about it. Do more WC and use phosphate remover to overcome this if it happens. I think Zorden, dachkie cooked their rocks to avoid this. but I am not too sure on this. Will leave for others to comment.

Just give the sand a good wash with tapwater and they can be reusd bro.
