  3. your scaping looks good bro... I think you like tanks that has a large area of expose sand... (actually I like it that way too...) looks less cluttered.. now you can slowly fill the tank with nice corals. FA will get weaned onto pellets rather easily. Think you really missed your splendid.....

  7. Hey guys... reallly..... Mossrope already given the heads up more than 1 week ago, there could be oil residue remnants in NSW. it is an extremely good idea to use salt mix water for the time being. They can also be bought from SL, AM.

  9. Chile vs Honduras 1:0 Spain vs Switzerland 1:0 South Africa vs Uruguay 0:1
  10. the pricing at Irwana is very reasonable. you can shop at ease there. Just 2 words of caution, do not ask the India worker there for pricing. He quotes much higher than the auntie there. so ask Auntie how much the corals are........ secondly you will see 2 foot cube tank there. auntie says that tank belongs to Steven. I have heard stories from multiple reefers that he resells corals bought from LFS for a hefty profit in this tank. so just take note. happy shopping!

  14. Hi bro, typically 1st compartment when your water from the overflow enters the sump, it should go through the mechanical filtration 1st. Hence cotton filters (I wold recommend filter socks) should be the 1st step. You can then put the chemical filtration stage next, which are the carbon, polyfilter here. You can also put the phosphate removers here if you do not have a FR. Last comes the biohommes/ LR in the lowest part of your last compartment. This is your bilogical filtration. 2nd Compartment You can place your skimmer here. (you might want to put some cotton on the water overflowing to the 3rd compartment to remove any microbubbles caused by your skimmer. 3rd compartment Return pump

  16. just saw 15 mins of Argentina 2nd half.... wow...... Arg cannot keep the ball, lack of imagination and look a very 1 dimensional team. the positive thing is that I don't think they can play any worse than tonight's game so they are bound to get better as the tournament goes....
  17. LCK has 1 helfrichi firefish and CF has 3 as of yesterday afternoon.
  18. if it is really an eyesore, after cycling, you can also take out the rock, use a toothbrush and brush it in a pail of saltwater to remove them..... (maybe during the 1st WC as you will be changing 30 - 50% of the water). anyway during the 1st 2 months, there will be a lot of algae boom..... (new tank syndrome). get prepared to use your tooth brush pretty often
