  1. lol same as mine then. should be ok. Did you get it from Henkabe as well?
  2. Yah my floor is pretty uneven. Ended up cutting a small piece of rubber hose and plug in under the cabinet leg on one side. but I forgot to check front to back. so the levelling when I look at the front of the tank is ok. But when viewing on the side, it is not levelled. check all sides. pls remember
  3. forgot to ask: how thick is the acrylic you are using?
  4. with opened tank, it is very impt to make sure the tank is level before pouring in the water. (get a bubble leveller to check if you don't have one) Else you can see the water level uneven after you have filled it up with water. One side of he tank with higher level and the other side lower. It is very obvious and quite an eyesore.
  5. Just ask her if she wants to see wires dangling behind the tank. So you have 2 tunze wire, a wave maker wire, you might also have monitor probes. == > at least 3 - 4 wires. Algae will also grow at the back where it is visible but inaccessible to clean. You can put 1st and if really doesn't like it, you can remove it easily. If you did not put it and want to stick it later, it will be more troublesome and will be more challenging to stick it nicely with water in the tank and limited access at the back. You should have let her choose the lavenda colour for the oyama Jun ... haha
  6. Let me see how good is the liquid copepods 1st. a bottle can prob last me 2 - 3 months. So the cost is not really that high. Unless if I keep a mandarin pair Else then maybe the next time I need to tackle is a DIY chaeton box within my nano ... hehe - after I settle my ATO and FR of course.
  7. Do you need oyama sticker? I have some leftover.
  8. It is $25 with 25% discount this month. Having a small area in the tank is prob ok it is not too unsightly. An refugium is out of the question as I cannot even find space for my ATO tank. Correct me if I am wrong, the liverock and chaetos will never be able to produce pods at the rate that the mandaring consumes. Thus a lot of mandarins usually starve to death months later if they cannot be weaned onto taking other food. Lemon, yeah naturally sources is the best always but hopefully this bottle of pods can help to supplement the food requirement.
  9. Lemon, Do you mean you placed chaetos in between the magnets in the main tank? Can to share a photo?
  10. My tank actually has a lot already. Can see them on all the tank walls. But no matter how much you have, they will decimate very fast if you have a mandarin. I think my G goby consumes them as well
  11. I dun have a mandarin yet lol. The copepods are brought in preparation for one. Yet hunting for a small one.
  12. Looking for Rics. Size : approx 50 cents size when not opened. Pls PM me. Thanks.
