yes, they all serve different functions. just place all the cartridges in.
-
prodibio digest - just dump 1 vial every 2 weeks.

definitely MCE 600.... sometimes there are 2nd hand deals at about $300....... but mce 600 really oversized for your tank. might have a lot of microbubbles entering your tank from the skimmer...... explain to you more next time....

basket... no wonder my post count so high...... hahah...... kidding.... which model did u buy ? should have 2 blue sponge, 1 black carbon and 1 green sponge.

Bro, you should be aiming for MP10 hor, not MP20. Loong's K nano should be pretty new. good buy. his place is near mine. if you going to pick up from his place, let me know... can meetup for kopi

since you are cycling around 1.021 will do. when you are ready to stock up, try to maintain it constant at 1.024 - 1.025 you can ignore the temp. (I do ) you are not doing WC yet right? cause your tank not cycled.

anyone has experience keeping Red Ocellaris Clownfish? No. is its behavior similar to common Ocellaris Clownfish? Yes can it be consider as very peaceful fish? Yes and where can i buy it? seldom see it in lfs Henry brings them in from time to time. Its colour is more orangy with a slight tinge of red. give up on yellow strip maroon clown, not gonna take risk yup maroon clown is very aggressive.

hi Ahunter Both of them are pretty similar. I have not seen the boyu but I think its not much difference if you get either one. You can go Aquamarin to have a look before purchasing. Personally I do not like the curve front as it distorts the view and makes your reef photography very challenging. Hey on a side note, we are planning to hold a workshop for beginners. Pls feel free to join us if you can. http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=89328&pid=918465&st=0&#entry918465 cheers Jacky

yeah sure will have .... you need surface skimmer to get rid of it. if yours is a hob filter, you can also see if you can pipe the filter input to a surface skimmer. if you do not have a surface skimmer, the try to create more turbulence in the surface and hopefully you can minimise it.

my is just a 1.5 ft cube with a MCE 600 and a chiller pump in the tank. I have a small bracket to hold the filter sock for mechanical filtration. Chemical filtration takes place in the mce media compartment. If you are getting a new one without sump, you can consider creating a small IOS to house a filter sock and your chiller pump. then use the MCE 600
-
how is it compared to the 9002?
-
you have prizm then use it lor...... no need to get another one.... change to a mce300/600 next time when u upgrade your tank. keep a tab on the Bubble maggus skimmer too that Binosage is using...
-
yeah there will be some sort of sound when tune to the max. just try to align the dry and wet unit and see if you can minimise it a little. some sound/ noise is normal.
-
LOL .... i am saying that the yumas are worth $100 in the market.... not that I am bidding a $100 for it. haha..... (My pocket not so deep, you scare the shit out of me ...) so your $80 bid still stand, Yellow Tang.
-
Bro it is normal. if you set at 28 deg Cel, you might have to wait till 28.6 or 29 deg then the chiller kicks in and it will cool to 27.5 or something. there is a +/- range. Maybe other user can come in and advise if it is +/- 0.5 deg or +/- 0.1 deg
-
!!!! his tank smaller than ours bro ... MP20?? haha.....
-
back to your question, can place anywhere. you can run your tank for 2 weeks 1st then see where are the dead spot then direct your wavemaker there. deadspot area - more algae growth, higher sandbed, less circulation area. small wavemakers suggestion : Koralia nano, Tunze 6025. I just went back to check my hob filter.... maybe you will need a nano wavemaker
-
lol...... lcf, next time when you have a chance to see his wavemaker, you will understand the joke...... or maybe ask Ray to post a pic of his wm.... hehe .........
-
yes I do.... the yumas are worth $100 liao..
-
I am laughing when i read this..... hahaha..... self ding
