At least the maroon is not chasing the false clown round the tank now. Saw them swimming together at close proximity which is good. The false clown is slightly smaller.

Just an update for those who are housing the chiller in the JBJ cabinet. I have used a fan to cool down the temperature in the cabinet. It is actually quite effective. The fan is a 12Vdc 0.37A computer fan and it works great. cheers!

Its day 3 and the maroon clown has stopped attacking the false perc now yay! There is some minor bickering but hopefully that will go off with time too.

wait wait rephrase..... see if you get the other aggressors without too much mayhem. house them in beta boxes or plastic mesh like the bros describe. Maybe you can section the tank using the mesh so that the aggressors are in a corner. Then rearrange the rockwork without causing too much disturbance. Like get it done asap without stirring all the debris sand etc. The purpose of doing this is to confuse the aggressors so that they will not recognize the territory. Leave the blue face alone and let it swim to establish its territory 1st. When it is ok, then introduce the other fishes back one by one over a period of a few days. But I strongly encourage you to try the mirror trick 1st. minimum fuss.....

wah testing me..... I return everything to my lecturer already like 20 years ago! Trying to recall.... (YES I KNOW I AM MAKING A FOOL OUT OF MYSELF.... THANKS TO POOMOON) as long as your ampere rating on the power adaptor is sufficent, you can connect in parallel. My adaptor has a limit of 2.5A. My fan is only rated 0.37 A. So even if I have 4 fans connected in parallel, the total amps is only 1.48Amps So the adaptor can still support. (I think the impedance has lowered though..... WTH... reliving all my nightmares.....) I can be TOTALLY WRONG..... Better let Sherman verify that this is correct. He is in this line. One more question like this and I will shoot you Poomoon ..... Lol kidding.....

hey question. I am using the Tunze 9002 but it is leaking so much micro bubbles into the water. How to reduce that? Do you guys encounter the same issue? Running for approx a week already.

hi all I am contemplating selling my Giesemann Nova II 150 W mh (silver colour). This unit is just 2 weeks old. The bulb is a Giesemann 20k bulb and has been switched on for approx 30 hours in total so far. Looking at $530. Brand new is >$600. Bought from Reef Depot. Pictures of the lamp can be found in my tank thread. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this lightset. thanks for the suggestions Comy. I think you hit the nail on the spot. I have got just about most test kit except Magnesium ... dang! I recall that if dKH is about 8, then magnesium level is normally about 1300. Mine is at 7 now. So at the moment I am just dosing Magnesium and alkaline buffer. Yes, more O2 in the tank will bring PH up. Will move up the Vortech tonight got get more surface agitation.

poomoon I assume the fans you have are the small ones 2 - 2.5 inch diameter. Those huge ones 7 inch dia should be alright. anyway I am just guessing. Jacky

walked passed a pc shop just now. there is also the laptop cooling fans that you can explore using. their fans are more "protected" I saw a huge one about 7 inch diameter. These are powered by USB
