The photos are taken with no light on. I have just switch on the light and wow, it looks different from yesterday. The blue is stronger now. you can definitely tell it is light shade of blue and not green. I think they are acclimatised to the lighting now. But the red is not as intense as Peter's photo. Peters photos are much much more rich.

but they look so cute and colourful. luminous green! I have 3 inside for about 1 month already.

yeah. ok mine is a 1.5 ft cube. So the top up is lesser that your 3ft. You can also look into the ATOs around. (auto top up) might be helpful for you especially if you travel.
