  1. did you try gettting processed pods to feed her? Try Jireh - reefmax copepods - near your place.
  2. +1. Do your own research. Then go down take a look at the actual zoas.
  3. Which camera are you using? on the lazy part, that makes 2 of us.....I'm even worse.... no photos lately I'll ask her to call you "lao kor kor"
  4. Hi all Thanks for the suggestions. I try to provide each fish with the best environment after I purchase them. I know this fella burrow but not to this level. He doesn't stop at one hideout. After he has secured one, he goes on to look for a new spot and starts burrowing again. he has 3 spots now and he might be looking for more. My sandbed has a high turnover though. so no algae. Thought of getting rid of it but it has such a character and is a beautiful fish. Will definitely regret it in future if I rid of it now. still thinking... thinking.....
  5. dun get me fire up on the poor ppl thingy and ummm you are definitely not one of them Will be nice to check out your LED when I am there tml. BTW, might be there with my girls hor.... I assumed you have tried custom setting your WB and it is still purplish?
  6. Another upgrade? wow.... Which LED are you using now?
  7. Super busy these few days. Have not had chance to perform WC yet. Really gotta do it on mon or Tues. Time really flies. One of my youth ministry student got married yesterday. He was like pri 5 when I met him. lol Feeling kinda emotional, sentimental, nolstagic today..... One day my girl will grow up and get married too..... will definitely feel very emotional then...... I was telling her a cheetah and her cubs story and somehow the conversation digress to her growing up one day and she will live with her partner and have her own family like the cheetah cubs. Her response : No daddy. I want to stay with you ... melts my heart. Yeah totally not related to my tank sorry. anyway back to my tank. I am having real issues with the yellowhead jawfish. It is spouting sand all over my yumas and mushies. He has already injured my clam while on the sandbed and killed one of my SPS that I placed on the sandbed. ** He totally buried the SPS in a pile of sand. My Suns is getting affected as well. This really cannot continue. Either I let him go or do a major rescape with all corals above sandbed. The scaping will be like a tree. A base with rock plateaus at all directions. (just picture a tree with plenty of branches) Only problem is that all my gobies might have prob finding hideouts. Any words of wisdom before I begin to act impulsively?
  8. Just take the rock, sock it in salt water and scrub it with a toothbrush when you do your WC lor. After your tank stabilize, there should not be too much algae. I had the same issue previously.
  9. I understand that challenge perfectly lol.... really rather hard ... hehe
  10. wow everything coming together very nicely Zorden. and you have a huge room!
  11. normally it is fill the test vial with your tank water to the marking on the test vial (usually 5 ml) add the solution provided in the box drop by drop and shake the vial at each drop. Count the number of drops until the solution changes from blue to yellow. That is your dKH. try to achieve 7 -12
  12. another power tank in the making.... tracking.....
  13. Welcome Marcobutt! Let's learn together lah. Looking forward to hear your plans.
  14. grats thomas. 1st residents in your tank. suggest you maintain these few livestock 1st. Even snails and crabs produces waste. * you will be surprise how much waste they produce hehe..... 1st few months water change must be performed regularly hor..... dun be lazy Enjoy your tank
  15. update: Livestock Yashia Found my Yashia gobies. Think he has settled in well. Found his own little space away from the other boisterous gobies. I think that is the limit as to the number of gobies I have in the tank. Mandarin pretty active. Saw him pecking on rocks, so he should be having sufficient food source. Pipefish Hard to tell if this fella is feeding or not. Cannot tell if he has lost weight or gained weight either. Can only keep finger crossed. Clingfish Another fish that is hard to determine if he is doing well. I have not come across any success stories of reefers keeping this fella alive so I really dun have much hope on him surviving. Doing my best though True Perc I think this fella has shaken off the brook. No more white flakes on the body. Will get fuel little baby to pair up with her later. All the rest of the old timers are all doing well. Neon goby, G goby, R goby, T goby, Jawfish, Firefish. The only one that has gone missing is the Pistol Shrimp. Have not seen him or heard his claw snap for quite some time already. Might have lost him. Pressing on the keep the rest of the livestock sustained in this condition. Detail water parameters check and WC tml.
