  1. Thats why when you does bacteria, try to does within the specified amount on the instructions. better to add a little and more often. I think they do compete with your tank inhabitats for oxygen too. Edit: you will not overadd biohomes hor.... just that they will be under utilize. Bacteria is the one that you should not overdose. biohomes are just homes for the bacterias.
  2. WC, I get from SL pre mix SW. Good excuse to go LFS too. Doing bi weekly WC. 10%. Ray I edited my earlier post. Go check with Peter on the additives.
  3. For suns, did u you try seeing if they are opened 1 -2 hrs after you switch off the lights? Also they are "appetizers" additives that help the corals open up before feeding. Cannot remember what they are called. Check with Peter if those are useful. He bought before.
  4. not sure if it is advisable to do 30% WC since they are not doing well. It might not be Water condition. if too drastic changes are made, might stress them more. If want to change 30%, then maybe spread over a couple of days.
  5. Think they might be unhappy with the lack of attention during your JPN Trip rather than feeding regime. (They were suffering while you were enjoying yourself with the Shark!) However for your reference, I feed my tank with DT's Phytoplankton, 5 in 1 coral food, mysis, Henry's food, Artic pods, Rotifiers, NLS pellets. but I only target feed my suns. will try target feeding my yumas and blastos once a week soon. I dose with Strontium, dKH buffer, MG, Iodine, Trace Elements, calcium weekly now. I have stopped using distilled water from NTUC. Currently just adding water conditioners into tap water.
  6. These are quite rare zoas. upzz for your bro.
  7. ....... Hope I will have much better luck. Sometimes wonder if corals will have cancer, heart attack ..... explains why they die suddenly.

  10. Hey Luke, For the 2026 that you sold me, I removed all the coral chips and ceremic rings. replaced them with Biohomes So there you go ... thats my preference. jacky
  11. lol ok so you really did read 80 pages.... I did not visit the LFS in HKG. Check with MarcoVan & Craftsman. They will have better idea what are the good deals in that street.
  12. these are frags lah (except for the mushrooms) main colony still with me.
  13. It adds a different colouration to the tank.... yeah I like it ....
  14. Hi dtan2011 Thanks for reading my tank thread... 80 pages... my goodness lol. I have problem tracing my own post too. IMHO, I think softies and clams are ok. The 110 W is more than capable of supporting these. For SPS, I doubt that 110W is sufficient for certain species. Montis, digitas are ok but the more light intensive ones will prob require 160W and above. I cannot comment on that because I have not used these. I hope this help. If you have any further question, please feel free to shoot over. cheers and happy reefing.
  15. hehe... The "ET" blasto again after expanding....
  16. I bought a couple of stuff from Peter already. No regrets.
  17. A fellow came to frag my zoas and a couple of loose frags dropped. Finally had a chance to see how experts frag zoas. Well not too expert actually because he broke part of the mother colony to loose pieces. gotta find a place to epoxy these small little fellas.....
  18. np. I cannot sell to other reefers anyway. Forgot I gave 1st option back to Lorensia. Sorry bro Lorenzo. I really forgot. And really take your time. Our tank gets filled up pretty fast. All it takes was just 2 months plus for me.
