  1. quite a number of blues in CF. should be between 1 - 2 red notes.
  2. ya ya ya.... the best is buy one get 2 free. you buy 1, I get the 2 free..... hehe anyway if you compare with DT pods..... I would take Tigger pods even if it is at full price.
  3. I am not bringing them in. Asking AM to bring them in. but need to consolidate 80 botlles. 50% off second bottle.
  4. Seems like a bit on the high side. Is your light placed in an enclosed hood?
  5. Have not tried it. damn I hate all these oily stuff. I just cleaned my skimmer. grrrrr.... Maybe I will just sell it away .... lazy to strip my skimmer and clean again.
  6. Update on the DT pods - I really don't like them due to the following: - bottle is unsealed - hardly any visible pods swimming around. Can only see "dust particles". could be carcass could be dead pods. - my fishes do not react when I pour them into the tank - more expensive than Tigger pods I really would not reccommend on getting this. Those who tried both, pls feel free to comment. ======================= I will be trying to consolidate 80 bottles order so that Tigger pods can be shipped in. watch the bulk ordering thread
  7. ya took photos of all my zoas already to reflect the true colour and for comparison purpose 6 months down the road to see if they have grown. Those that are badly fragged (your zoas) lol..... are being cut into 2. I have left a lot as it is and epoxy all of them to my rock aready. Think I will not further frag them yet till they have grown another 30% bigger. Those you indicated.... i dun think I want to frag them. The base rock is very small and I might kill some polyps if I cut it. now my tank has 10 polyps here, 10 polyps there... looks funny but should look great when they fully bloom.
  8. it could be called white bait too. They are hardly available in my neighbourhood supermarkets.
  9. LED guru mean LED guru. ya right. no lens. their LED output is 120 deg.
  10. Been meddling with the white balance setting. have been relatively successful after umpteen tries.
  11. ya. with my wife, my girl and a baby Think yours is the yellow car.....
  12. Because there is water trapped in the replica rock (the replica rocks are hollow) and they do not go through the water circulation & filtration. hence when u rescape after a few months, the water in the rock is quite stale already and it's not advisable to leak them back into the tank. Am I correct?
  13. CF live rock not cheap leh.... I heard. will PM you the price. Replica rocks advantage is that there is no pest, no dieoffs, nice shape. no need to pm lah. small replica (about 2 palm size) is about 3 red notes large ones (about 18 inch length) is about 13 red notes. Jireh does not display all the rocks outside. talk to the auntie boss and let her know you are looking for them. She will bring them out for you to choose. If you happen to go JM, let me know. I can go with you - stay near there. GO's replica seems a little more artificial and the shape is not as nice imo.
  14. you did not watch Nemo? hehe.... they dare to chase after humans!
  15. Thomas some of my zoas frag survived the pox. The polyps that were affected and closed and seemed melted has reopened. The polyps are much smaller though. But think they got over the pox already.
  16. Oh ya - same piece lol Hey Wilson - ever thought of using partly replica rocks? Jireh has some with very nice shape. can consider. - when you glue your corals, glue them on a small rock then onto your tank rocks in case you want to frag, sell, shift them in future.
  17. CF also has 2 sunburst anthias. one medium size and one small - about 3 red notes lots of mandarins - most of the fish tanks are empty though. LCK also has some flame angels. small and mid size. lots of small neon gobies (small) and purple tangs (medium). lots of "naked" clown, and 2 platinum clown.
  18. Personally I would try to get rid of all crabs just to be safe. Some can grow to be quite huge.
