your photo period a bit weird.... personally i try to simulate the sunrise, day , sunset sequence. Example: blue 1 hr blue+white 7 hr blue 1 hr your can play with the numbers or maybe 0.5 hr, then 6 hrs, then 0.5 hrs can also start from 4pm so lights off will be around 11 pm Plenty of time for you to admire your tank then.

Nice. If you come across any tips on WB settings for photos under LED lighting, pls post them up too I find myself having to do a custom WB setting and then still have to do a WB bracketing to get the right WB. BTW, You got your DSLR already Larry?

update: My ORP reading has been extremely low. It has dropped from 400 to 280. It is now unable to climb beyond 300. I have already dosed Biodigest twice in the last 2 - 3 weeks. I suspect that this is due to the removal of live rocks and reduction of sand thickness. I have added 1kg of biohommes plus in my cannister hoping that they can house the bacteria colonies but seems that this is not working. Any advise/ thoughts?

was feeding my suns today when I notice ... erh.. something is moving..... it was a crab! probably snatching food from my suns. quickly took a cup, isolated the sun and took the hairy 8 legged beast out. he's still in the cup now.

finally can see the purple colour ( a little pastel still) on my purple hornet. before that was more like grey hornet cannot wait for all my corals to get acclimatised to the new G2.

just wondering, did you set it up yourself ? So if your chiller is overworked now, so it will be worst if your rectify the positioning?

Hey Bino Do you feed the rics? I target feed them once a week with mysis. They have expanded quite a bit since.

if target feed, just once a week or at most twice a week. in between just sprinkle a tiny bit of Henry's food along the sun's way. (Think I recall u feed these) from time to time. Do this often and they tend to stay open.

Hey Eugene. Was about to ask you to join as I was reading your thread update. You and comycus helped me to kick start my collection so I am extremely grateful to you guys Your zoas look so healthy. I have much to learn. For the frags, the pics will be posted onto the SRC Frag-ExC gallery album. I think this is the finalised name for the group. Stands for Frag Exchange Club Posting links/ pics onto the forum topics will be messy because it will be hard to scroll all the available frags and also to delete the photos. Using the gallery, we can simply move the traded frags into the "exchanged" album hence reducing the housekeeping issues. My brain is also very tired. Anyway when everything is set up, I can draft a step by step simple instructions for everyone. Regarding pt 3 - a little sensitive lol. Lets go low key on that. Everything should be set up by Thursday night or Friday morning. So hang on tight, its gonna be exciting !
