If it does not, contact JBJ service center. 2) calibration Do you have a thermometer in the main tank? just wondering if the sensor in the chiller can be damaged. 3) how many powerheads you have in the tank.n how many wattage are these? Overall volume of the tank setup? inclu sump Recalculate the HP required. maybe you missed out something. I have seen 4 footer using 1/3 HP and it was barely enough but they were using 250 MHs.

Hi Michael Let me see if I can help. I think you are more concern about what can go wrong if you do the above. - fishes might develop some white spots due to stress. - worst case - loss of fishes. This can help you: - collect a pail of tank water 1st. after you have remove the rocks, catch the fishes out and place them in this pail. Put in an airstone for aeration. - perform WC more frequently the next few days. - dose bacteria - change medias. (carbon, filter wool etc) good luck!

not a matter of amount Daryl. I think even if $2, it does not mean that buyers can have the right to pilot sellers. Everyone's time is precious. The thing is that with this rating in check, pilots will seriously think 2x about confirming a purchasing without commitments. I think this on the whole will benefit the entire reefing committee if implemented properly.

Canon or Nikon will do fine. Sony is alright but they have a more limited range of lenses. GO and handle the DSLR personally and see which set fits your palm better if you are a neutral.

shallow tank so maybe my current MaxSpect can hit up to 2.5 feet length. will likely get another 1 or 2 set of 110W. Not the whole length will be filled with rockscape and corals. I will prob have 2 stack of rocks and corals will be there - so I am guessing another Maxspect 110W will do. Moreover, IOS will be on one end (included in the 8 feet) and the MCE will prob be on another end. There will prob be spotlighting effects but I think I can live with it. likely to continue to use my MP10 and perhaps add another 1 - 2 Koralia nano. Wavemaker will be on one end and the IOS overflow will be on the other. need to check with Markietan and some others who work with long narrow tanks.

yeah it is just a long low shallow tank. It terms of scaping, it should be easier cause you can congregate similar corals together. can prob have more space for gobies too and small tangs can swim a longer stretch. tank volume max will be equivalent to a 2ft cube tank coz I dun wanna get a new chiller. currently using artica 1/10 hp. will most likely upgrade to mce 600. this is just for planning purpose only hor.... so dun get overly excited. someone came over to collect the snails & Sand dollars. He suddenly asked me about me upgrading to a larger tank...... my wife heard and her eyes suddenly open big big.... *gulp.... so if you ever see me with my wife.... dun ever ask me that question pleaseeeeee

think he is planning to grab all the gems first. Buy 20, keep 5 best of the best ones, sell the rest..... Thats why cannot put inside his tank. have to place in frag racks and beta boxes 1st. repeat and repeat until he has only the nicest corals in his tank.... Then the FTS will come .... So I guess it is a reef tank in the making.

8 hrs is definitely way too excessive. 1/4 HP might be underpowered. also whats the setup like? MH, sump, full height cabinet?
