missed out this thread, sorry. - small clams need very regular feeding of phytoplankton. that is their main diet. Larger clam still depends on phytoplankton as their main source of food but they can supplement their diet with their zooxanthellae tissue on their mantle. Thus clams requires pretty strong lighting. So no. They do not produce food for other corals. It is for their own consumption.

good that you guys are doing something about this. would suggest that you take extra effort to see if any of these culprits are using these double / triple nicks to manipulate open bids. all alternate nicks should be removed as well.

Sorry Siang. Was on half day PTO today after lunch with the grp. Lunch was great. Meet up with Digibee, Desi, Justin and meet a new SRC reefer today echan (great nice chap). We have so many wonderful people in this forum really. Must really appreciate the grp. My time is 10:30 pm onwards everynight to 12 midnight everyday. But usually by then I am too tired to do anything. Just wanna chill, surf the web, watch dvds and relax.
