Bro, it will do you some good to ponder why those points were given to you. if you still cannot when the reefers are all saying the same thing about you, then something is wrong with you. Cheers and happy reefing.

Uppz... more info about the skimmer Retail price : $659 The Deltec MCE600 is the ultimate hang on skimmer now suitable for aquariums up to 875Ltrs (235 u.s gallons) and since its introduction at the end of 2003 has taken the market by storm. The MCE600 is now fitted with a full size pinwheel and generates 400 lts of air at the pump like the TS1250. Its design gives it the flexibility to hang on almost any brand of aquarium or for it to be used inside or hanging on the outside of a sump. ts new design gives it the flexibility to hang on almost any brand of aquarium or for it to be used inside or hanging on the outside of a sump. There is a chamber built into the skimmer where media such as RowaPhos or carbon can be used in a sock or bag and there is even an optional media box available. The performance is as you would expect from any Deltec skimmer, drawing in 300lts of air per hour for maximum waste removal. The Deltec philosophy is that for every 1000 Ltrs of water in the aquarium that you require 400 - 500 Ltrs of air per hour to achieve efficient skimming. This makes the MCE600 skimmer suitable for 235 US gallons for a normally stocked reef aquarium or 150 US gallons for a heavily stocked fish only system. From testing that we have carried out we have found that Deltec skimmers produce at least 2 - 4 times the air volume used on most competitors skimmers which are claimed to be suitable for comparable water volumes. Technical Data MCE600 Skimmer : Article No. 31117 Can be hung on the outside of the aquarium or sump. Draws its own water from the aquarium via the internal needlewheel pump. 400 litres of air/hr are produced at the venturi. Dimensions: L 10.25" W 7.1" H 20" (normal position). H 22.5" (allowing for removal of the cup). Height above lip of aquarium - normal position 9". Width of body only external to tank 3.3". Pipes extend by 3.75" from skimmer body. Did my 1st test and completed it within 2 mins. Pretty fast and fuss free. It is more expensive than the alkalinity checker and ULR Phosphorous but I believe it is money well spent The reading I had was 461 ppm !!! rather high.... This should be correct as I have been dosing quite a lot of Redsea Calcium additives over the last few weeks to buff up the previously tested 350 ppm level. I suspect my alkalinity should have dropped and indeed it has... it has dropped from 9.5dKH to 8.8 dKH by using the Hanna alkalinity checker.... Sweeeeee..... I love these checkers ! Now I just need to does 1 - 3 session of KH buffers and they shld compensate to optimum level... cool !

I got so fedup of testing for Calcium. In addition to trying to differentiate the faintest of colour change, The agony of dripping drop by drop to determine the Ca level was too much to bear....... So... I went and got the ........ Hanna HI 758 !
