filter sock compartment.... The filter sock can be totally enclosed by an L bracket. THis is to minimise salt spray or splashing. See the filter sock holder from Dr Evil (DElighting).... very nice.... L bracket removed L brakcet secured.

picture of the sump.... pardon the cables... I just dump the probes and temp sensor all into the sump.... The skimz SM161 skimmer fits in nicely and I can add another skimz FR obtained from Motoro. (He is a very nice chap.) Notice the ample space at the top?

For nano hobbyist, after a few years... most of us would reach a cross junction where we need to decide the following..... deccomm? upgrade? or keep it at status quo with just a silly fish inside ( Ding... haha Ray,..). I decided to get a slightly larger tank with sump so that I can hide all my eqpt in the sump. I simply love open rimless tank. The next million dollar question then would be who do I get the tank from.... I have seen so many tank owners promoting their own tank makers (for whatever reasons) but I have also come across so many negative remarks from other friends on some of these tank makers too..... Hence I did some homework and besides checking with the sponsors here, I also check with N30, Sgbros, Coral Reef Aquarium, etc. I eventually purchased the tank from Coral Reef Aquarium. I made a trip to his showroom in Eunos to have a look at their display tanks. then walk around the workshop to see his workers in action. I spent 90 mins discussing with Dan (from CRA) my requirements and running through the tank & sump design. This guy is amazing. Heis so patient in running through all the details of my tank, accommodated all my nitty gritty requests and offered practical suggestions to make the design better. really kudos to this guy..... place order and in a week, he wanted to deliver my tank over.... haha... i was not ready. I had to ask him to hold the delivery for a couple of days. Well enough talk, so how is the quality of the tank... hmmmm pictures speak a thousand words... see for yourself.....

Hi Keith, I think the basics ones are No3, ca, alk, mg, ph, po4 There isn't a test kit that test all of them. The new range of red sea test kits comes in set ( if I rmb correctly) and seems to be quite good. You can also check out saliferts.... If u are keen if getting digital reading and not having to count drops, ml or matching colours, then u can check out Hanna checkers (po4, alk, ca) Sent from my iPad2 using Tapatalk

Bro, also your canister is only 600l/Hr. You might need to get another mini wave waker in your tank. Also I prefer your 1st scape more crevices Sent from my iPad2 using Tapatalk
