  1. grats bro. nice upgrade and I saw the FA from reborn last week. Very nice!!!!
  2. Oh ya... ya heading there.... better wear red yah? kekeke
  3. maybe long term wise, putting just an acrylic there or something like an algae scrubber there is the best solution, if the intention is to reduce noise. you don't have to worry about bioballs/ biohommes clogging. no unsightly detritus at the bottom. just unsightly algae
  4. Bino is given the freedom of dinging today because of his H goby
  5. nice seeing you again bro! and nice meeting Wilson too.... Think next time, we need to do lunch reservation liao .....
  6. .... damn sleepy...... lunch effect kicking in......
  7. I am using only a 800lph pump to push my 1.5 ft cube tank water to my 1/15hp chiller and return. no sump. some reference for you. wondering if using a 1/5 HP, you will need a higher lph pump. but having too high a lph pump, you might create sandstorm/ whirlpool in your 1.5 ft cube.
  8. Now we know what is your other hobby already.... spycam on insects .......
  9. Besides you, only Justin will announce when he is going to LS ==> aka do big business..... wahahaha
  10. haha... you can try proposing to him... wahahaha.....
  11. lol... sound so familiar.... keke.... glad to know that I am not alone..... you can purchase Natural Sea Water from CF, they are in Lim Chu Kang. Further up NTU stretch beyond the cemetries. accessible only by car. Else LFS in the city AM, SL, ML sells mixed salt water. Most salt brand imo are about the same. get the reputable ones. You can PM Dr Evil. Yes it is but it is very water level dependent. I am using it for my 90 litre tank. so far so good. If budget allows, maybe source for a more powerful & less fussy skimmer. MCE 500? Suggest Carribsea grade 1 live sand. grade 0 is too fine and your MP10 might create sandstorm. Yes. I am using that. great chiller I dose some additives like Kent Marine calcium, iodine, trace elements, dKH buffer. food I does zooplankton, phytoplankton, oysterfeast. Pls note I dose in very small qty regularly and I am overdoing it. regular water changes itself should be sufficient. My set up should be pretty similar to what you want with the exception that I do not have sump. Pls give Dr Evil a call. I know he is embarking on some project and that is exactly what you are looking for and welcome back bro!
  12. wahahaha.... fell off my chair..... now we have another club within SRC..... kekek.....

  14. Oh nooooooooo.......... Very sorry to hear that. it was a very pretty fish. did anyone else get any Helfrichi from ML? mine still ok. touch wood touch wood........
  15. it is pretty similar but not the same. I have the one that he was selling too - from GO. but really it is about 80% identical.
  16. did not know you are an insect pimp as well...... you gunning for 20% also arh? lol .......
  17. dun flood your tank bro especially with 1 whole cubeof henry's food. foul up the water very easily. use a syringe attached to a air rubber tube and squirt the food towards the suns. For my supersuns, I use chopstick and pick up a mysis or 2 and feed each mounth manually. very minimum float away. I feed my blastos and rics this way too. a little tedious but it does not foul your water. You tank size is very small and over time, your nitrate is going to build up.
