Not all worms are bad. some are actually pretty good scavengers but ALL of them looks ugly. You want want to dip everything, be prepared to go through your entire cycling process again...... Else maybe you wanna ping Wilson, Desi & Raydiative to see how they do their worm hunting at night. If only a few colonies of zoas, you can try dipping them 1st and see if they opens up. If they do, then you don't have to go through the trouble.

.......... dun arh..... tons of work, corals will get upsetted. ecological system becomes unbalanced, bacterias might die off.... restarting a 2.5 ft tank no joke.... holding tub, cleaning up existing tank mine as a 1.5 ft tank already so siong and I could not have done it without CF rocks. don't unless no choice....

My tank was infested about a month ago. When you can see luminous bug on the tank wall, you will then know you have an infestation. Mine was like that a month ago. nudis were practically everywhere. You can see the pics of nudis on my tank thread.... I think somewhere at page 185 +/- 15 pages . How heavily stock is your tank now? maybe give us an FTS and we can give you proper suggestions.

so overall, I think colour loss is the problem in my tank right now. I am not sure if this is due to the high fluctuation of PH/ salinity. I was previously using MH and the evaporation was really bad. Most of the corals lost colour during that time. Recently after the swop, I notice that the new corals can sustain the colour better.... example like the zoas from Thairun. I am currently adding iodine more aggressively and hopefully, within the next 1 month, their colouration will improve.

Hi reaper. Yeah I recalled reading that if you are using NP Pellets, it is best to put it near the skimmer. Somehow, a bad strain of bacteria is produce when u use NP pellets. With a skimmer in the vicinity of the skimmer, they will be skimmed away. maybe that explains your darker skimmate.

Thanks craft. hmmm nope. no SPS until maybe a year later. Initially did try SPS but found it hard to compromise the wavemaker flow suitable for both softies and SPS. This is especially so in a nano. Hence I have given it up to keep more hardy corals.

My flaming PPE has also lost colour. (zoa in the center) The blue face has turn to black. On the right, pink zoas from GO.

My candy apple or apple candy on the right .... cannot remember the name.... lost its green intensity..... The zoas below is from Comycus. Took 2 months to colour up a little. Coco worm from GO

Peacemaker, I am putting this small frag under shade and the mother colony at the top of the scape. See if the colour turns better after a month. The mouth is suppose to be green but it has lost a little colour. Lets see if the frag regains its colour. Justin, Karl This is the one that I was contemplating to get at Iwarna. I think that zoa is the same one as this.

Collected lobo from reefer today. Michael, thanks for bringing to my place today. Should have invited you up but my baby is sick and cranky. Next time, it you drop by CCK, come up for kopi one of the head is half depressed but should be able to nurse back after a while. I have nvr kept a lobo before. Any tips?

This zoa is the only 1 of the 5 that did not open nicely. seems like red skirt, lime green face and yellow center. Also There might be another type of zoas on it.
