  7. +1. I think this forum has raised awareness of the various types of corals available. People can now see and gauge whats in the market. Hence making better selection of corals purchase. With demand then comes supply. Example: the recent rics and yumas wave
  8. yah. i spent about 120. but if I did not get CF rocks, I might loose my corals as they are starting to get stressed in the holding tub

  10. Auntie will likely give you 1 - 2 kg discount but yeah... your gf will still smash your tank AND your head but they are very good rocks..... not just in terms of the cleanliness, but also they are very porous. Very good for bacterias colonization.
  11. Meeting Comycus, Ah Siang (and possibly Peter, Justin and Karl) for quick lunch then heading to SL. If you are in working in the vicinity or keen to join us, just let us know
  12. with more holes and crevices at the sandbed. Randall's, yashia gobies, etc build their homes at the sandbed level. So if you have less rocks on the sandbed, you will have more opportunity to observe/ admire them better. my scape intentionally has lots of opening at the bottom. to increase water flow, eliminate dead spots and cater for for gobies observation deck
  13. that is prob because of your scape. His home is at the back of the tank. with these small gobies. always try to scape with minimum blockages on the sandbed. Then you can see them. they pair up with Pistol shrimps too. very fun to see them together.
  14. arh... aka Randall's goby... nice fish. I miss mine.
  15. I did for some of the rocks... maybe 30%. Not sure if bacterias get killed by coralRX. I dun think so
  16. 4ft very good liao Mine stop at 1.5 ft wahaha.....
  17. dip in coralRX before putting into your tank. can get rid of the worms, pest that are inside. you can also leave it in the open for 3 - 4 hrs (*not under direct sun) and wait for any crabs/ mantis to come crawling out 1st. Occasionally spraying saltwater over it - dun let it get dry. As there will be some dieoffs, prepare some bacterias to dose over that few days.
  18. upzzz for your bro. extremely nice gesture.
  19. hehe must be the late night... 1.6 red notes.
