with more holes and crevices at the sandbed. Randall's, yashia gobies, etc build their homes at the sandbed level. So if you have less rocks on the sandbed, you will have more opportunity to observe/ admire them better. my scape intentionally has lots of opening at the bottom. to increase water flow, eliminate dead spots and cater for for gobies observation deck

that is prob because of your scape. His home is at the back of the tank. with these small gobies. always try to scape with minimum blockages on the sandbed. Then you can see them. they pair up with Pistol shrimps too. very fun to see them together.

dip in coralRX before putting into your tank. can get rid of the worms, pest that are inside. you can also leave it in the open for 3 - 4 hrs (*not under direct sun) and wait for any crabs/ mantis to come crawling out 1st. Occasionally spraying saltwater over it - dun let it get dry. As there will be some dieoffs, prepare some bacterias to dose over that few days.
