It has been a while since I had time to browse the forums and post...I remember we started our tanks around the same time, in fact mine began earlier than yours but now...your tank is so much more amazing!!! you really gotta impart your skills to me bro Anyway, looking back at how things started, I really see the importance of a good tank maker, and it is invaluable that you had the oportunity to preview yours before delivery! I had requested to view mine before it was deliverd but could not, and ended up with with a couple of specifications that were not met...nothing show stopping but you know, after all the planning you kinda want things as close to perfect as possible. Just gonna treat this as one of those life lessons learnt! So two thumbs up to your tank maker and his great service!!! :thumbsup: Hope to be able to drop by and see your amazing home grown piece of the ocean soon! Cheers!

Hi bro, I really super newbie especially when it comes to fishes...very limited knowledge and will gladly soak up any constructive advise experience reefers here have to offer! I do have some preferences though...I do like tangs Achilles, blue, chevron, powder blue, tomini (too many tangs in one tank? will try to choose 2-3 but I like all!) I also want to get some schooling fish, desi was suggesting anthias...I like Bartlett Tomorrow going to tour lfs in the west...think will start with some cleaning crew I set up a temp QT that I got from a fellow reefer just incase my hands get itchy, wanna let the main QT pipping be completed first

Thanks for the concern bro! Actually in the past my skimmer cup overflowed many times stinking up the living room...so this time round, the outlet from the collection cup is placed at the drain

Yup I'm happy with the rig for the light set...I think it is as neat as can possibly be and the credit goes to Reef Systems I'll try and get more detailed pictures of the setup soon!
