Got a Teco RA680. Bought from reefer abt 6 months. This is the older model. Temp probe has been changed to external one. I have also gotten Derek to change the fan motor and blade. Not using now due to upgrade 3 months back. Now using Pac coo0.5 hp, pending tank upgrade in near future. Will let go for $300 nett. Also got H&S in-sump model with Aquabee 2000/1 needle wheel for 850L, will sell after my current skimmer has run in and doing fine. So check market offers at this time. Looking aroung $550. Hi all, looking for a used MD55. But only condition is that I need to test it on my skimmer (AquaC) to see if it is the right pump. Coz I jus bought a MD40 and it doesnt work. Willing to give 50% deposit upon collection. If my skimmer starts to skim within 2-3 days, I will comfirm it.

Hi bros, how do we setup the bacteria for denitrator? I am using deniballs in my denitrator. but 1 one plus oredi still have not kick in. The nitrate level from the output is the same as the tank. I tried to use Aquamedic aquabactor to start 1 month ago. The things seems to have kicked in initially when the flow rate is about 1 drop every 4-8 seconds. The nitrate is zero. But when I adjust the flow rate to 1 drop pe rsecond, the bacteria die off liao. I hav tried using a bacteria liquid and tablet from niche (sold by FS @C328) but same problem when I increase the flow rate. Have tried abt 3 packs liao but always failed. I am now using a dymax DX-600 with about 15 deniballs and the rest is normal bioballs. Pls advice.

Bro, dun worry that your sun dun open immediately when u bought them. Perhaps u should try cyclofreez mixed with the phyto & zoosplanktons. Some sunnies take a while to acclimatize. They may be stressed due to transportation. For new sunnies, they are not as sticky when I feed mysis or brine shrimps. After a week or two, they will be very sticky to catch any passing food. Of course, your water parameters must be within healthy range.
