Ooooo.. hm looks good... I saw the auction page and I thought it was 2nd hand... Shucks like that maybe I also go buy one.. I see if I have a spare HD lying around...
-
yeah why not? I used to have a 1ft cube with 1.5ft sump...
-
haha everyone 10yrs ago play he now then start?
-
depends how long u go loh... some more I sharing with 3 other friends so it's dirt cheap... got $56 for casing so cheap one meh?? U mean the 2nd hand one issit?
-
if you don't need it all the time then rent it.. there are a lot of people renting it on clubsnap... price quite reasonable too.. For eg. me and 3 other friends going cambodia end of year... renting one 40gb drive... split amongst 4 of us each person 5-8 bucks only... cheap!

combos are like u have a set of cards which are designed (by yourself) to do certain things... alone the cards might be powerful but together even more so.. Eg. summon 1 x creature cast strength on creature then cast flying (opponent's non-flying creature cannot block) then attack.. that's a super simple combo... if your summoned creature had just attacked w/o the flying spell, then it wouldn't be able to damage the opponent and instead would have been stopped by his creatures.. You can also upsize your combos for $0.50 to get large fries and a diet coke...

No seahare keepers? I just tried it again and it slurped up the macroalgae again.. quite amazing to see them chow down on it...

Google is thy friend I:

u start of with starter deck.. i think it gives u 45-60 cards forgot already... inside you find the basic cards you need to start off.. but if you ask me it's FAR FAR FAR from enough.. expansion packs are like add-ons... they usually have cards not found in the starter packs (more powerful cards) and as such the packs are more ex.. some expansion packs are more ex than others.. Basically the whole point is to build up a killer deck of cards... cards can range from lands (which give u mana), to enchantments, to creatures, to spells, etc... Having the right combination of cards is the key to winning... there is a lot of ways you can play with stratergy here and that's where it gets interesting... Then there's the hunting down of a particular card you really need to finish off your deadly combo... etc etc...
-
i USED to play it back in secondary school.. that's like 8-10yrs ago... it's highly adictive and quite fun... starter packs just get u.. well.. started.. then you need all the expansion packs which cost more.. then there's the card trading etc... it's fun really... still have my old black drop deck man...

OK I decided to get the AC ER n50 In the end because I heard several bad things about PDA phones. In fact I am using it to post this reply!! Thanks for the linK to the PDA forum managed to get an excellent deal for my PDA there
-
oh that's pretty small for a 5 footer... i use my 450 on a 2.5footer.. well as long as it gets the job done... Nice tank btw... I would go buy some matching plywood to cover up the stand and make it into a pseudo cabinet to complete the look...

Can i run my skimmer in the day and off at night?
ervine replied to somebody's topic in Product Reviews
i would suggest more so you leave it on at night... helps to oxygenate the water... -
well firstly most people don't have space for 2 skimmers.. although I know some people have used 2 weipros before.. I don't believe 2 skimmers will not make it more efficient than 1 skimmer, it might not be a 100% increase in quality of skimmate but it's definitely better... neither do I believe that having >1 skimmer will result in only 1 skimmer working while the rest just blow bubbles.... While I agree that higher grade skimmers do produce better results but if you talk about budget, 2 lower grade ones might still be cheaper than a higher grade one assuming you have the space for it in your sump...
-
nice work... hope you coated your stand with a few layers of marine grade paint though... it might start to rust in no time.. Also, does your cabinet have a hole in the back for the chiller exhaust?
-
if you have the space (and money) why not just buy a few budget skimmers (macro comes to mind) instead of 1 big expensive one?

Hi guys, My seahare did an excellent job clearing my tank of hair algae but now that there's nothing left I started to worry that it might starve... I read on liveaquaria that it eats Caulerpa so I plucked some small leafed caulerpa from my refugium and dangled it infront of the slug.. to my surprise it slurped it up!! Anyone other seahare owners care to share? Erv.

hm.. not really.. mine chows down on fish food.. haha...

-

I played with a 02mini today.. not too bad I must say, i thought it would be worse.. and I really love the handwriting recognition, it beats palm's grapitte hands down!! How abt pocketPCs? I considering just like getting a pocketPC instead and use both seperately...
