Hi guys,
I just upgraded my sump and I transfered my exisiting macro needlewheel skimmer over, however it stopped working once the swap was made.
The pump is working fine but no bubbles, the only way I can get it to bubble is either:
1. Move the pump REALLY REALLY REALLY near the surface, I mean really near like almost at the surface
2. Restrict the inlet of the pump with my fingers or some other object, this seems to work very well, a lot of bubbles but at the same time a lot of microbubbles are escaping from the skimmer and I don't think this is how it was meant to be used..
So how how? Right now the needlewheel pump's inlet is about 6-7" from the surface of the water, do I need to move it up? If so how do you guys usually do it?
Thanks!
Ervine
