Hi guys,
I've been reading about DIY Neilson kalkreactors hooked up to auto-top ups, what I don't understand, and what most of the websites i've seen fail to explain, is:
1. Where exactly does the water come in? (top or bottom of chamber)
2. Is the stirrer turned on 24hrs a day?
3. If not, how do you make sure that when the stirrier is turned on, the dosing pump isn't turned on?
4. Which direction is the pump pumping?
5. How to make sure that the soln in the chamber does not siphon back to the auto top-up reservoir?
I've included a simple diagram, please see if I'm correct in my assumptions...
