Nice tank but is it because of the photography that the sides of the tank look very much darker than the centre? Or is it because of the single 150W?

Hm... then I don't know of any shops who will have.. coz they usually only sell the pumps which come with the impeller... shops which sell them seperately do so only because the supplier sells them seperately as well, eg. Ehiem, Maxijet, etc... So I doubt you'll have much luck going door to door asking...

Different pumps different impellers right? So must specify which one u looking for specifically...

Well this might not be very helpful but the last time I went snorkelling, I rented the gear but it was so uncomfortable that I ditched it and went for my normal goggles instead. Held my breath and swam around... so much better.... Oh rented a lifejacket too so that I won't have to waste too much energy keeping afloat...

Huh how to drip it if it's in powder form? You mean to mix it with water then drip issit?... I've seen some "baby plankton" being sold at LFSes before.. but I doubt if they are TRUELY planktonic in nature

I think it takes a min or two for the bulb to completely warm up... not very long lah... distance I leave mine around 1ft from the water surface, or is it more.. hm... And my MH is on a stand, also had my reservations about hanging.. some more mine is false ceiling...

Not the first time someone did it... but the thing is that the bubbles might become larger in size and thus not as effective.. But since you are getting better skimmate then I guess it works for you

I think you should not allow them near other corals outside their family...

Don't be silly, it's very easy to aerate water... if you have a skimmer it'll already be more than enough to aerate the water... Distilled water won't kill your fish...
