  1. Agreed... nutrafin makes the water foam like crazy... but I think Seachem Prime is a bit ex right? Just go for those china/taiwan brands lah.. I bet they do the same job anyways...
  2. I think u'll have better luck selling it at a freshwater forum...
  3. still don't get the need to split the chambers... if you really want then I suggest your input from your 1st chamber to 2nd chamber be lowered... Either that or ur 2nd chamber be a lot taller... but still I don't see a point...
  4. hm... i see no point in the dual chamber in this case... bubbles always move upwards, your 2nd chamber will be just water....
  5. Hm... I tot green star polyps (GSPs) also grow like weeds?
  6. Problem is that pH pens spoil easily right?
  7. The rotary head one? Both are prone to jamming after a while.. go read there are reviews on it...
  8. Don't add what you don't need... If nothing's going to take up your calcium then why bother...
  9. I see i see... but things like cyclopeeze no way to feed via auto timer right? Also... phyto and stuff cannot either right?
  10. Hi guys, I was looking at AT's TOTM and I noticed that he mentioned he feeds his tank 5 times a day. How is that possible? For me I'm hardly at home so at most it's twice a day at 3 or 4 hr intervals... So how do you guys do it? Especially when there's so many types of feed, phyto/cyclopeeze/rotifers etc etc... Thanks, Ervine
  11. I think it looks even better than a natural reef!!
  12. Nothing? If you must then a powerhead for your skimmer then some foam which is changed weekly and a bag of phosphate remover...
  13. I don't see how when the cleaner is the same size as the six line.. i have both and so far they have never had any interest in one another before...
  14. MODIFY THEM TO BECOME EXTERNAL?!?!?! You can't!!! Please don't attempt to use an internal pump externally, you'll run the risk of it overheating, catching fire, who knows what.... Why the price difference? Buy a proton or mercedes... you pay for what u get...
  15. Just take away the bio-balls and all the mechanical filtration...
  16. Mine leaked too... I just hantam the whole elbow in sealant... ugly but it works...
  17. Interesting... so users of Emeralds and SLFs I presume SLFs are better?? But Eaquarist place might have stock right...
  18. How big are these crabs? they look (in the photos) to be quite big... especially with their extended legs...
  19. get a chiller! And get a bigger one for that matter, in case you ever want to upgrade your tank (which is almost a given) no need to buy another chiller...
  20. Alamak... should have told me earlier, then don need to waste my time DIYing my skimmer.. hehe... good luck with the sales!
  21. Spent about $20 bucks? Can't remember.. bought them a long time ago when I was planning to make a spray injection style skimmer... and no I din steal from my mother's tupperware collection.. she would have killed me!! and I hope it works too... hais.. but have to settle my exams and stuff first... oh well... Hmmm... maybe I should patent this... Tupperskim version 1.0a
  22. I just thin them with my hands manually... Better to thin them so that they can get more light to the lower areas of the fuge...
  23. I think you have all your technical terms mixed up man... No pump really requires any drilling of holes, just pipe it around instead of drilling a hole... If you want the water from the tank to go into the sump without drilling any holes then get the i-box from ian (check the sponsors page)... or make your own DIY overflow..
