  1. risky method... just grab and pull apart at the connection... better method get a dremel or saw or something to saw off.. or chisel also can... Just make sure it's at the connection part any higher up the branch and it'll damage the hammer

  3. I used to be an MP... ORD liao.. Precision drill if I'm not wrong got 2 types... basic and advanced.. basic is for those just passed out as MP and posted to the company that does drills, advanced is more for trainers or what... something along that line.. a bit rusty liao But not all MPs do precision drills... actually most don't.. only 1 company does it.. why? u kenna posted there ah? Can PM me if you want...
  4. Okay managed to get 1" off the neck... drilled multiple holes then broke off the plastic bit by bit, ground it down and melted it a little to form a smoother edge.. but still it looks like crap.. In any case, I'm running it now... will update when I get results (if I get results)
  5. I think I'm going to try to sand down the riser in the cup by abt 1/2 to 1" see how it goes... Don't know how I can get a clean cut...
  6. Yup quite common... mine hosts itself in my hammer... In fact some people recommend alternative hosts as compared to a more destructive anenome..
  7. then how like that? I think I have only 1 extra cup to spare...
  8. Yeah I took my ballast out from the set too... now much lighter.. Can do a search I think.. posted it in the DIY forum quite some time ago.. like 1 or 2 yrs ago..
  9. Hm.. will it? because the frag only grows on the surface of the glass and not bore down into it right?
  10. Hm but that sort of contradicts what cookie said... if I'm not wrong he's suggesting a narrower neck...
  11. If i'm not mistaken it might take a while to bring the temperature down a few degrees more so when it's the first time your are running the chiller. Maybe can wait a while see how?
  12. Confused bro.... chop it off sand it down then stick it back? so basically it's just shorter? don't get the narrower tip within original neck part bro..
  13. Maybe you used it wrongly? Coz I use it according to the dosage and no clouding whatsoever...
  14. Hi guys, Been wanting to do this for a long time but didn't have a chance to... in any case, any bros out there have an idea how to mod the cap of a weipro 2014 (or any other in the series) such that the foam doesn't clog get clogged up in the cap but instead slides down the outer side of the riser thing? Thanks! Ervine
  15. looks great... u sure packed hell of a lot of equipment in ur sump man!! *thumbs up*
  16. There is?? Hm.. anyone interested in my shrooms? hehe... but nothing spectacular... sad
  17. i don think they should be in a cage.. best if got a garden for them or at least a flat bed cage... cages with those bars at the bottom are not very suitable as they might hurt the bunnies... u imagine walking on a bridge with lots of holes in the floor...
  18. haha damn funny.. hehe compressed version
  19. just a simple question... where do we go to buy UPSs? Or shop around for them? Sim Lim?
  20. I have the same problem.. somehow after the foam reaches the cap and the first few mm of skimmate build up in the cup, no more skimmate comes out... probably coz the build up of foam at the cup doesn't allow for more to come out.. So in the end all the skimmate just builds up at the neck till it's super thick... I'm considering modifying the cap to allow the foam to get into the collection cup more easily...
  21. nice nice... how much did ur trip cost?
