huh? don't quite understand what you mean.. but what I do is I i rig up my DIY autotop up to pump water into a kalkreactor and the water from the KR goes into the main tank... if your evaporation rate is slow then use a fan loh... cools ur tank + helps u dose more kalk.. You can get big distilled water bottles to top up your tank if you are afraid the water from your tank has impurities... but best is still RO/DI unit bah.. I also don't have one so I just make do with tap water...

Hm I thought tempered glass (poorly made ones) have a tendency to spontaneously shatter due to some internal pressures built up... I know this happened before... esp if the silly contractors anyhow drill holes in the tempered glass...

1) Really up to you the size but thickness should be 10mm upwards.. do not get 6mm.. my 2.5ft using 12mm I think... 2) Sump also likewise up to you... if you ask me.. bigger is better... 3) this one SERIOUSLY up to you... my gf would choose pink.. how about you? 4) This depends on what you want to keep in your tank.. FOWLR? Tangs? SPS? etc etc... the more difficult and crowded, the better the skimmer
