i won't even put 1 BT in a 2x1x1 let alone 2 bro... I recommend you don't bother with airstone skimmers... coz after a month or two you need to change the airstone.. quite a trouble (esp for lazy people like me).. I suggest you just go ahead and get a cheap weipro 2011 or 2012... go ask on 2nd hand market...

Hi guys, My Rio hyperflow 6HF just died on me... was using it to run my chiller, luckily i found out about it early and managed to replace it with another spare pump i had lying around... anyone else had problems with it before? Erv.

clumps here, there, everywhere... already took the affected rocks out for scrub, but after a week or two slowly they algae grows back... but i only installed the FR (well actually canister modded to an FR) a few days back.. so waiting for results if any.. I only have an algae blenny which never touches the algae, hermits which ignore it totally, and snails which chow down only on algae growing on the glass... So the only natural predator the algae has is my toothbrush right now... shucks

Actually they are hardy... but i lost all my firefishes due to them leaping out of the tank... (my hood covers 3 of the 4 sides) but still they leapt out... I even found one that made it down into the last compartment of my sump... alive! I think it's because there was a bi-colour pseudochromis which kept bugging them...
